The Space:
The Odyssean Tiny House A by Tiny Away is a cozy tiny house retreat in Quorrobolong, just 16 minutes from Cessnock in the Hunter Region. It offers easy access to wineries, hiking and cycling trails, and beautiful natural spots. Nearby attractions include Watagans National Park, Dora Creek, and Bonnells Bay on Lake Macquarie.
A cozy 190-square-foot tiny home with a lofted queen-sized bed, and a convertible single-bed couch on the ground floor. All with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include a flushed toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.

Guest Access:
Guests can access the tiny home and its surroundings. Except for farm sheds, stables, and shipping containers.
Activities are available with 24 hrs notice:
- SPA TUB is subject to availability
- Enjoy on-site riding trails for horses or motorcycles. Bring your horse and use the sand arena for $50/night. Follow safety guidelines on this working farm.

Relax at hidden gems like Dora Creek and Bonnells Bay on Lake Macquarie, both 30-35 minutes away. Wine lovers can explore Hunter Valley’s top wineries—Tyrrell’s, Scarborough Wine Co., and Brokenwood.

Getting Around:
By car:
- 2 hr drive from Sydney
- 16 mins drive to Cessnock
- 54 mins drive from New Castle
- 51 mins drive through Corranbong and Morisset to the Central Coast
By public transport: We recommend guests travel by private vehicle for easy access to nearby attractions. However, if you're coming from the city like Sydney, you may follow these steps:
- You can take the train from Sydney to Newcastle.
- Start at Sydney Central Station and catch a train on the Central Coast & Newcastle Line to Newcastle Interchange. The journey takes about 2.5 to 3 hours.
- Then, from Newcastle Interchange, you can catch a bus to Quorrobolong. Look for services from Hunter Valley Buses or check the Transport for NSW website for specific routes and schedules. The bus may take about 30-40 minutes, depending on the route.
Alternatively, you can take the train to East Maitland and then look for local buses or "Rideshare" options to Quorrobolong.
Additional Tips:
- Remember tp always check the latest schedules and service updates on the Transport for NSW website or app. Plan your trip to account for waiting times between connections.
Other Things to Note:
- Mobile reception is good in town
- No smoking inside the tiny home, except outdoors
- Please bring your own firewood to use the outdoor firepit
- Keep in mind that some areas are shared, such as the chairs, etc.
- Please do not enter animal paddocks or yards without the land host's permission
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed unless approved in advance by the hosts
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Safety guidelines
- Please keep an eye on children inside as the stairs to the loft is quite steep
- Guests with infants are recommended to bring their own portable travel cot during their stay
- We strictly advise guests to follow these safety guidelines to avoid potential accidents on the property
Important note:
- Outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Expect some noise as the property is a working farm stay accommodation that cares for farm animals and crops
