„I was really hesitant in booking this place due the age of the house but!! It turned out to be a great place to stay. Central to our activities and big enough for our family, with plenty of room to share. Communication with property manger was excellent. Had a little glitch with plumbing, which was no fault by management or ours, but was taken care of immediately. Over all excellent place to stay. Would definitely visit again“

„We were in town for a wedding and this was close and convenient to the event. This is basically a nice row house with 5 bedrooms on 3 floors with two very small bathrooms. Very clean and nicely amended with an updated kitchen which we did not use since we were just there overnight. Lots of stairs so if that’s an issue I would not recommend but it was perfect for my family.“

„This was the perfect spot for us while we were visiting our son at Lehigh for the weekend. It is an easy drive to campus and in a nice area. It had comfortable living spaces and everyone got their own room. Bathrooms and kitchens are all recently remodeled and lovely. The house is clean, comfortable and welcoming! “

„The property was absolutely beautiful, whistle, clean, and well stocked, really cute coffee bar with all the amenities, the hot tub was terrific and the view out the back of the Delaware river was stunning.“

If you need to sit on a rocking chair on the front porch to watch a sunset and listen to birds, this is your place . If you want the most refreshing dip in a pool after a warm day , this is your place . The rustic vibes add to the magic …. We add a day to our stay each year if we can . “

„In August 2025 we had the perfect family vacation at the River House. My family of 9, ranging in age from 9 to 77, spent 5 nights in Joan’s beautiful house. I am in a wheelchair and have never stayed at a more handicapped accessible rental. Joan was helpful and gracious and when my bed was too high, she helped us work out a perfect solution and the elevator to all four floors was a lifesaver. The house was wonderfully furnished with everything we needed from kitchenware to beach towels. We ...

„My family stayed here for a wedding in newtown. What a lovely apartment! It was a rainy cooler june weekend so we didnt get to enjoy the outdoor space as much but parts of the patio/deck was covered which was great. The pingpong table and some porch areas needed a sweep but otherwise it was delightful, clean, cozy. We’d stay here again. “

"Leider war dieses Hotel nicht so schön wie erwartet. das Hotel ist sichtlich in die Jahre gekommen. Unser Zimmer roch sehr unangenehm und hatte sich sehr feucht angefüllt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Ich würde mir wünschen wenn das Hotel in den nächsten Jahren modernisiert und renoviert werden würde. Die Lage ist top und ruhig."
