We’re not the “big home” type when we travel — we enjoy places that are simple, rustic, country and personal — and this stay was more than we ever imagined.The 2.5-hour drive from Kissimmee was peaceful, filled with tree-lined roads and quiet stretches. „Very clean place, quite, town is still recovering from last years hurricane. You can walk everywhere.Great sunsets, everyone is friendly, peaceful town.Was cold & windy had to cancel kayaking, flying.Several shops were open. Nice to support them.“

The innkeeper gave us a tour of the hotel and was very knowledgeable. of the history of the island and recommendations of what I was looking for. There is an oversized swing on the porch that I took a nap on. I loved this hotel, and the bar, and the restaurant. I loved the toiletries in the room. “
