The Quinta is a very spacious property both in land and accommodation offerings.
Although it has accommodation for total 9 pax in the main house or 3 couples in main house we can also accommodate a further couple in the lodge or extra 5 pax in the lodge. Depending on your unique needs.

The actual house accommodation is over three floors, on the ground floor comprising of a full kitchen, sitting room, laundry, pantry, powder bathroom.

Suite 1 – The Black & White Attic Retreat
Located in the upper attic level, this expansive suite is both dramatic and serene. A low, contemporary king-size bed sits beneath angled skylights, allowing you to fall asleep under the stars or wake with the morning light. A long horizontal window and large glass door flood the space with natural light while offering views of the surrounding landscape. The bedroom also features a stand alone clawfoot tub for luxurious soaks in your own private sanctuary. A separate room houses the toilet, bidet, and sink for added convenience and privacy. . Thoughtfully designed with families in mind, the suite also includes two single beds nestled into a cozy alcove, perfect for young children needing to stay nearby. A sofa creates a comfortable corner to unwind, read, or enjoy a quiet drink.

Suite 2 – Valley View Attic Green & White Hideaway
Adjacent to the first suite, this second attic-level room offers a romantic and peaceful setting. A queen-size bed is perfectly positioned to take in sweeping views through a grand picture window that frames the river valley and distant hills. The en-suite bathroom features a walk-in shower, dressing room, while a separate area includes an extra wash basin in the main room, ideal for two guests preparing for a day out or a cozy night in. This suite also includes a single bed for a child or extra guest, along with a sofa, coffee table, and drink-making facilities. Like its neighboring suite, it has its own private staircase and outdoor entrance, allowing guests to come and go with ease.

Suite 3 – First Floor Garden Suite blue room
Located on the first level, this charming queen-sized suite opens directly to the garden, offering another breathtaking view of the river valley. Large windows invite natural light and scenic vistas into the room, while the en-suite shower room offers modern comfort. A cozy sofa and coffee table make this a perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or relax after a day of exploration. This suite is accessible both from the interior of the main house and via its own private exterior door.

The lodge - King Mezzanine en suite bedroom + single en suite bed room + bunk style x 2.
A beautiful rural loft style design with king size bed en-suite shower bathroom on a mezzanine level, and two single beds in a private attic niche ideal for kids with own bathroom, as well as a single en-suite shower open plan room with its own own entrance, part of the Lodge. Large sitting room, simple kitchen with all amenities, opening on to large terrace with panoramic mountain views, swimming pool and river.

The grounds are very secluded in their own bend of this delightful valley, with stunning views over the river Paiva and the Serra de Montemuro mountains opposite. This marvellous countryside is ideal for those who enjoy walking, cycling, swimming, bird-watching, trout fishing, kayaking around the area or practising various outdoor pursuits.

It is also the perfect spot for those who are looking for peace and tranquillity, "far from the madding crowd", in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The Quinta nestles in a green and lush valley: the sides of the mountain are clad in eucalyptus and pine, and the tops are open moorland which in the spring time is covered in heather of the most beautiful colours. In the valley floor grow warm Mediterranean crops which are available from the garden in season.

Legend relates that the artist, Picasso, visited this estate on a number of occasions as the guest of the original owner of the property, the German artist Heinz Kraken.
