Die Lage des Objektes ist etwas abgelegen aber dafür sehr ruhig und ein traumhafter Blick. Man muss eine circa 2 km lange Schotterstraße In kauf nehmen.

Tolle Fewo
Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche in der Toskana erleben können. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, v.a. die mit einem Laubdach versehene Terasse ermöglicht einen angenehmen Aufenthalt auch an heissen Tagen. Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Vermieterin, alles war wunderbar - sehr gerne kommen wir wieder.

Toskanisches Haus mit viel toskanischem Inventar. Toller Pool mit Aussicht. 2km Schotterstrasse bis zur Hauptstrasse, teils steil und für Fahrrad nicht geeignet.

Schön ,mit Einschränkungen
Wir (Familie,Kids 11u. 10 Jahre ) hatten eine sehr schöne Woche im wundervollen Chianti . Die Wohnung ist prima ausgestattet, alles da was man braucht. Leider sind die Regeln am Pool zu streng. Es scheint nicht gewollt zu sein das Familien dort verweilen, es gibt weder Sonnenschirme noch Liegen, noch darf man Luftmatratzen o.ä. mitnehmen. Reinspringen natürlich auch nicht...... Fanden die Jungs nicht so toll.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Nice house, and very nicely decorated. Very quiet, es surrounded (apart from a few other houses) by landscape. But close of Siena and Florence, and a few other places. So, one can chose, whether to enjoy a quiet day in bucolic landscape, or throw oneself into excursions.

Schönes Ferienhaus in toller Lage
Sehr gemütliches Ferienhaus in einem sehr schönen Borgo gelegen. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, die Terasse super, um sich auch bei großer Hitze den ganzen Tag draußen aufhalten zu können. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin ist sehr, sehr nett und total unkompliziert.

We had a wonderful stay in Alessandra's little row house in the little village of Granoia. It's been just perfect for a week off the beaten path. We all enjoyed very much the wonderful house including the charming terrace and the perfect view over the Tuscan landscape, the pool and the tennis court. We hope to be back soon! Granaio
This is a perfect property for a couple or small family. The directions Alessandra provided (including pictures) and instructions on how to self-check-in were perfect. The localita road to Granaio is a little bumpy, and on reflection we would have hired a car with slightly better suspension to a Fiat Panda. That said, it wasn't a difficult drive. The house is well appointed and the kitchen particularly has everything you need for cooking full meals is that's what want to do (as I did). Alessandra is a wonderful host and was happy to answer all my daft questions via WhatsApp while we were there. It's worth noting that we travelled to Siena and Florence via train from Poggibonsi and this was both inexpensive and convenient.

Magnifique maison de famille en Toscane
Alessandra a une superbe maison dans laquelle on se sent bien. Tout le confort moderne avec le charme de l’ancien , piscine, tennis , cigales et collines boisées . Enfin Alessandra est très à l’écoute et toujours disponible. Je recommande les yeux fermés.

Heerlijk romantisch ingerichte vakantiewoning
Fijn huis, erg compleet, romantisch ingericht. Ruim en zeer schoon. Fantastische locatie, groot gezamenlijk zwembad, goed verzorgde tennisbaan in een rustige omgeving met wijds uitzicht. De laatste 1,5 km naar het huis ervaarden wij als avontuurlijk maar gebruikten deze met veel plezier. Wij vinden dit huis op deze locatie een echt aanrader!

Fabulously remote location
We loved our stay at Granaio. It is located on a hilltop surrounded by forests, grapes and olive trees. The “driveway” is a gravel road almost 2km long with a steep grade (1st gear as you near the top) arrive before dark on your first day. We rented a small car and had zero problems getting around. We went out everyday and mostly came back after dark. GPS worked really well and Alessandra’s directions were flawless! There are steep steps from parking to door and steps in apartment. Wifi was a little slow but you are remote and the trade off is the view! The apartment is charming. Decorated with local things and gorgeous antique furniture. The kitchen has everything you need with washing machine. The bathroom is small but clean. The pool looked nice, we didn’t swim but others did. The apartment has a lovely back terrace covered in wisteria and huge rosemary plants, olive tree and a walnut tree. We were visited by a gorgeous fluffy orange cat eat morning on the terrace who came and went. This is a peaceful restorative place to stay. There are local restaurants within 6-7 km. We loved Castellina in Chianti for multiple nearby dinner options. Siena about 35 minute drive and many vineyards everywhere!

Un endroit de rêve!
Alessandra est très gentille et s’est assurée de notre confort dès notre arrivée. L’endroit est un peu reculé, mais le détour vaut amplement la peine après une grosse journée à visiter les villes de la région. Nous avons fait de belles rencontres à la piscine, beaucoup de plaisir aussi sur le terrain de tennis! Nous avons bien profité de la table extérieure à l’ombre, parfaite pour le Spritz du retour!

Holiday at Castellina in Chianti.
We have had a very good holiday at Castellina in Chianti. The communication with the owner, before arrival and during our stay, was excellent. The description to arrive at the house was spot on and also questions ask during our stay were answered on the spot. The furnishings of the house is such that we felt immediately at home. As an example all kitchen utensils you can dream of are there. Same applies for the outdoor terrace. I nice big table for meals and comfortable chairs to sit and read a book or just to relax in the sun. Pool and tennis court were at our disposal as much as we wanted. Both is good order. Castellina in Chianti is a perfect location to explore Tuscany. Siena, Florence, Pisa etc. are all relative close by and are certainly worth a visit. Gracie mille Alessandra

Magia del Chianti
Bellissima esperienza. La posizione è strategica e la zona offre veramente un sacco di opportunità: città d'arte, borghi medievali, resti della civiltà etrusca, trekking sulla via Francigena o anche il solo perdersi nelle colline toscane. Quando si è stanchi ci si rilassa nello splendido complesso in cui è situata la casa: tranquillo (almeno nel periodo in cui abbiamo soggiornato) e con una splendida piscina. Unico piccolo neo è la strada sterrata (1-2km) che bisogna percorrere nell'ultimo tratto prima di arrivare: in alcuni punti era un po' troppo rovinata.

Maison située dans un petit hameau rénové d'une quinzaine de logements de vacances avec piscine et tennis. L'endroit est très beau,sur les douces collines du Chianti couvertes de vignes ,oliviers et de forêts. C'est très calme,l'endroit idéal pour se ressourcer tout en étant proche des principales villes toscanes Florence,Sienne, San Gimignano, Volterra. La maison est tres bien équipée et aménagée avec goût. Nous nous y sommes très bien sentis .très bon accueil par Alessandra la propriétaire

Un bel endroit très agréable pour se reposer et découvrir la Toscanie
La location fait partie d'un corps de ferme aménagé en plusieurs maisons indépendantes. Il existe d'autres maisons dans le lieu-dit Granaio où se côtoient des vacanciers de tous pays et des habitués italiens. Heureusement, on est très loin de la surpopulation et la piscine n'est jamais bondée. Nos voisins ont toujours été respectueux et cela était même l'occasion de sympathiser. La location d'Alessandra a beaucoup d'atouts : elle reste fraîche même en été, possède une tonnelle très agréable et est très bien équipée pour la cuisine et le reste (machine à laver le linge, lave-vaisselle, four). Elle est décorée avec goût de toutes sortes d'antiquités et objets personnels ce qui lui donne du charme. Il faut compter environ 50 min pour aller à Florence. San Giminiano et Sienne sont plus proches. Volterra vaut le détour à environ 1h. Les deux derniers kilomètres vers Granaio se font sur une piste non goudronnée à travers les bois, ça monte un peu à certains endroits mais passé l'étonnement initial, on s'y fait sans problème. Nous n'avons pas utilisé le terrain de tennis qui semblait assez souvent libre et en bon état. La proximité de la forêt (Réserve naturelle Bosco di Sant'Agnese) se prête également à quelques petites balades. C'est un bel endroit pour se reposer et/ou rayonner vers les belles villes de Toscane. Seul bémol, la literie est un peu ancienne et certains matelas mériteraient d'être changés.

Lieu paradisiaque au coeur du Chianti.
La maison d'Alessandra est très confortable. C'est une maison de famille qui a une âme ce qui permet de très vite se sentir chez soi contrairement aux locations meublées avec du neuf. La décoration est de très bon goût. La maison, parfaite pour une famille de cinq personnes. Alessandra nous a accueillis avec beaucoup de bienveillance et de gentillesse. Le village est composé de quelques maisons, seulement des locations, et cela a un petit air de "village vacances" sans les animations. Les enfants (et les grands) se retrouvent au bord de la piscine ou autour d'un tennis. C'est une formule très sympathique. La région est superbe et a une fois de plus, confirmé notre amour pour l'Italie. Nous reviendrons ! Merci Alessandra. Love!

Magnifique !
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en Toscane. La maison est située dans un hameau au milieu des vignes et oliviers, avec une vue extraordinaire sur le chianti, au calme, elle très bien équipée, on est comme chez soi. Alessandra nous a très bien accueilli et à été très réactive lorsque nous avons eu un problème de clé, merci encore. Très bien située au coeur de la Toscane, tout est à portée de voiture. Nous n'avons qu'une envie, c'est d'y retourner.

Perfect location to discover Toscany
Nice house in the middle of a restaured village. We realy enjoyed the environment, very nice view and a dip in the marvelous swimming pool after a days visit was very welcome! The tennis ground is perfect and the kids really enjoyed it! As there are a lot of trees in the garden, we didn't suffer at all from the heat! The house itself has everything you need to spent perfect holidays
