„Well appointed and very clean. Good internet. We did meet Freddie the Fan Ghost. He would turn on the lights on the fan at night (sometimes 3 or 4 times in a row). Sometimes he would just turn fan off for no reason even after we turned it back on. Happened in all 3 rooms. Not sure what was going on so we chalked it up to Freddie the Fan Ghost😁“

„We really enjoyed staying in this quaint and updated Penthouse which was actually very quiet. It was especially nice to leave our car in the parking lot most of our visit since we could walk just about anywhere we wanted to go. There were lots of great restaurants nearby and we enjoyed a 2 1/2 hour bike tour in town our first day there. I would definitely recommend this gem to family and friends!“

„Overall our stay here was positive. But, the apartment was not ready for occupancy when we arrived. There were moldy coffee grinds in the coffee machine, and used, dirty towels hanging in the bathroom. The coffee provided was an already opened coffee grind package that was only a quarter filled. It's a great location and cute place, but...yikes!“

„Very cute 2 bed/2bath. One of the bedrooms has a desk which came in handy for doing some work. Wifi worked great. Loved sitting out on the patio to eat our lunches and breakfasts. Bathrooms very well stocked with plenty of towels etc. Enjoyed the coffee machine and the host provided plenty of pods. Short 2 block walk to the beach and 10 minutes to downtowns. Would highly recommend.“

„The Dux is has a fun, eclectic vibe. The apartment is very conveniently located..restaurants, bakeries and cafes all within walking distance. Papa Dux has a cozy outdoor space with a fire pit which we made good use of. The kitchen was well equipped and the communication with the property manager was easy.“

„It was a nicely refurbished small apartment. Almost everything was great. The beds were very comfy and though we didn’t go to the beach, it’s really so close. My only issue was that there was sand in between the sheets when I climbed in to sleep. Maybe when the cleaners made the bed, somehow sand got in. Also there was a lot of dust on the lamps in the living room. But really nice otherwise.“

It was so easy to reach the owners with a couple of questions, who themselves happened to be in Hawaii babysitting their grandchildren. I only have a couple of suggestions for safety and comfort.
