Hi TiffanyWhen you arrived you were not booked onto our system here, no. I explained to you that around the time you'd booked that we'd been having issues with some Expedia bookings failing to upload onto our system and I also explained that in every other case we had at the time we'd had email notification that they'd failed to upload and we inputted those manually. I showed you that in your case we had received no such email so we could not have known that you'd booked. Despite this, and because we recognised you were two young women who had travelled a long way, we tried to offer a solution. Yes the room had been out of use to the public due to the toilet not flushing but you couldn't find another available room in a hotel nearby so one of the owners of the hotel very kindly vacated this room and slept on the conference room floor so that you two had a room for the night and weren't sleeping rough, no the toilet situation was far from ideal (although pouring water down to flush is the same process as pulling the handle, sudden rush of water that pushes the waste away) but the discount more than reflected this as in every other way the room as it should be. Yes you did have to wait a short time while the owner vacated the room and then cleaned and changed the bedding for you personally, this was unavoidable. I refute your allegation that I was 'incredibly rude' about you checking out early and was not hospitable, myself and the other owner did everything we could to help your situation and make sure you didn't sleep in your car, we were completely unaware of your booking and I feel your review of 1 out of 5 is a little unfair under the circumstances
