Carnedd Ugain: Touren und Aktivitäten

This hotel was unclean and due to the issues below we chose not to stay at the hotel and instead to book somewhere else in the area at the last minute. Upon arrival we noticed issues with our room, which was room 3. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling and damp patches in the main ceiling. We had been given a fan to cope with the heat however this was laced eith centimetres of heavy, thick dust making the conditions in the room unpleasant. I raised these issues and we were given another room, room 12. On the surface this room appeared nicer but there was an unmistakable smell of urine. This was accompanied by a damp stain in the corner of the room. On the wardrobe next to this stain there was a diffuser, as if to attempt to block out the smell. It did not. I raised this and the receptionist said "this is a dog friendly hotel". There were no other rooms available and we were refused a refund so we left. I am still awaiting to hear if I receive a refund after getting off the phone from their main office which is in London for some reason.

With a number of options for sightseeing within less than 30 min driving, this is the perfect spot to explore North Wales. From the sea coast to Snowdonia, everything is easy to reach. The cottages are beautiful and peaceful and the hosts are friendly and very helpful. Absolutely recommended.

Lovely apartment, great staff who fixed a hot water issue within 15 mins of reporting. They also checked in with us once again in the morning to make sure all was fine. Can be noisy at night hearing people move around their apartments as there are 4 floors. But not really anyway around that so it’s no one’s fault. Good location with an NCP carpark accross the road.
