„The River House is as advertised, well appointed, clean, comfortable beds, peaceful with a hot tube and the sound of a river which you can walk down too. It was much further away in terms of time than I expected. Although not too far in terms of distance, the road to the house is VERY twisty, and since we were in a rental car, took it slowly, easily taking an hour or more to and from Monterey. That was a big chunk of the day. “

„We (a family from Germany staying in the US for 5 weeks) stayed for 5 nights, and soon felt home. The cleanliness was immaculate, not even dust under the beds. The standard (kitchen, bathroom) is a bit older, but we‘ve had some newer hotels that were maintained and cleaned less, so it‘s definitely ok for a few days.
