„The MellFellView Cottage in Penruddock is a great place to stay for visiting the Northern Lake District, Ullswater is just a 20 min. drive with the car, we walked there around Glenridding and took the Steamer up to Howton. If we were to be critical we would say that the stairs are tricky if even for the most able bodied particularly at night time. The bed is a small double and extremely soft therefore if sharing with another person you both end up in the middle. „This is a great apartment - it has a great location within 5 minutes walk of the centre of Keswick super handy access to Booths Supermarket and great views to the North looking at Skidaw and its approaches. Inside it is comfortable and has everything that you need for your stay - all kitchen and laundry is as expected and bed linen plus bath and hand towels were provided for each guest.
