Kleines, nettes Bed & Breakfast
Wir waren in Suite 5, welche recht gross war, doch trotz der netten Einrichtung den Charme einer möblierten Garage hatte. Als angenehm empfanden wir den kleinen Kühlschrank, der mit Wasser und Milch gefüllt war, sowie eine Kaffeemaschine. Jeden Morgen gab es ein leckeres kleines Frühstück, bei dem man sich auch Eierspeisen sowie French Toast bestellen konnte. Die Poolarea war hübsch gestaltet, für unseren Geschmack war das Wasser jedoch recht kühl. Restaurants waren gut zu Fuss und sicher zu erreichen.

Insgesamt sehr schön und freundlich. Auch gut gelegen. Leider muss man das Zimmer vollkommen abdunkeln um eine Sichtschutz zu haben, da es keinen 'dünen' Vorghang gibt. Die Toilette entspricht nicht ganz dem Rest. Ich würde hier empfhelen den 'Bahnhofsduft' zu entfernen, da es das Gesamtbild sehr stört.

Sehr schönes Haus, gute Lage, gutes Frühstück
Wir wurden sehr freundlich mit einem Glas Sekt empfangen, ruhig und ohne Zeitdruck wurde alles erklärt und gezeigt. Immer wieder, ohne aufdringlich zu sein, wurde nach Befinden und eventuell notwendiger Unterstützung gefragt. Haus und Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll, aber auch zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Es fehlt nichts, auch an die Flasche Wein im Kühlschrank ist gedacht. Nespresso Maschine im Zimmer, Kapseln werden bei Bedarf nachgefüllt. Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und mehr als ausreichend. Kurz und knapp: Sehr zu empfehlen.

Neues, komfortables Guesthouse.
Das kürzlich eröffnete komfortable Guesthouse hat uns überzeugt. Grosszügige Räume, alle wünschbaren Annehmlichkeiten, sauber, grosser Pool in parkähnlichem Umschwung. Vergleichsweise schnelles ADSL-Internet. Grossartiges Frühstücksbüffet, hilfsbereites, sehr freundliches Personal hilft bei der Tagesplanung oder bei Reservationen von Restaurants oder Wine Estates. Wir werden dieses Haus bei unserer Rückkehr gerne wieder besuchen.

Modernes uns sehr stilvolles Hotel
Dieses Hotel können wir nur weiter empfehlen. Wirklich alles hat gestimmt. Es ist ein neues, recht ruhig gelegenes Hotel welches jedoch sicher zu Fuss von der Innenstadt ( ca 10Min) zu erreichen ist. Es ist erst gerade neu eröffnet worden und das Team ist so detaliert aufgestellt um den Gast den höchsten Komfort zu bieten. Mit Herzlichkeit und Liebe zum Detai sind sie alle dabei. Die Betten waren sehr gut, alles sehr sauber und die Einrichtung auf einem hohen Niveau. Toppen konnte dies nur ein bezaubernes Frühstück welches nicht nur lecker sondern auch schön für einen individuell angerichtet wurde. Wir hoffen dass wir bald wieder zurückkehren können!

beautiful new guest house
Very warm welcome with a glass of MCC. The rooms are new and elegantly furnished and have a terrasse to the pool area. The pool area is kept very beautiful. Great breakfast is prepared in the open kitchen by Anje and her staff. We had the chance to meet the very friendly owners that gave us some recommendations for the wineries and restaurants in Franschhoek. The location is about 10 walking minutes to the city centre. will definitely visit again if we have the chance.

Excellent service by host. Parking available for a car or 2. Room clean and comfortable however was very cold. This ruined my stay. Needed extra heater. Used aircon to get some warmth. Shower was good. Main disappointment was not refunded for part of stay as had to leave 2 days early.

A little gem
We stayed here for 3 nights 17-19 March. It was amazing. Our host kept us smiling with his great sense of humour and charm. In spite of the worrying times he always made sure we were comfortable and brought us champagne while we relaxed pool side. The accommodation itself was spacious beautifully decorated and cleaned meticulously. At breakfast we were served fruit and the option of cooked food too which was very tasty. Very friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you for making it such a lovely part of our holiday. In terms of location it's walking distance to the main road with plenty art galleries and eateries to explore.

Disappointing.
There are nicer places to stay in Franschhoek. We were given no notification of loadshedding times, we arrived home from the wine tram to complete darkness and one candle in the room. We requested more and were given ONE more candle to light the entire room and bathroom. There was no water in the fridge when we arrived. A soap dish, without soap. Handsoap and shower gels were bolted into the wall. Two ply toilet paper on the roll, but single sheet for the roll - it just felt like they were cutting corners wherever possible. Breakfast on the 2nd day was half the quantity of the first day "because of loadshedding" but that's no excuse.

Dear Roxane, Thank you for staying with us and your feedback. Regarding load shedding, on the table outside of your suite I places a printed time shedule for times the electricity would go off. However, the morning you refer to they did not inform and the electricity was cut off during breakfast service. You were more than welcome to join for hot breakfast after the electricity came back on as all the other guests had cold breakfast early and came for hot at 10;00am. We also placed a large candle in every room. These candles are big enough to light our rooms, but you were yet again welcome to ask for another. Still today with the Corona Virus no corners are being cut, we make sure our guests are happy but you never complaint once. We hope you have a safe trip home and that we will see you next year. Great location, lovely staff and superb breakfasts. Beautiful gardens with refreshing lap pool. Set in a quiet side street. Only 5 mins stroll into the centre. Comfy bed and nicely decorated room. Only negative was our bathroom was quite dated but we were told this was all going to be upgraded over the winter and we saw some of the other room’s bathrooms which were really nice.

Don't stay here if you don't want to get robbed
We enjoyed our stay, until someone stole $200 and the rand equivalent of about $25 from our hotel safe. The safe has a key--I guess we should have known better. Our cab ride back to Cape Town told us that he knew of other visitors who had the same thing happen to them. Word to the wise--don't trust a safe in a Franschooek hotel. The property acted like they were going to do the right thing and refund us (even sending a "screenshot" of the refund) but we haven't gotten a dime back. So much for a romantic honeymoon

Séjour agréable mais attention à la propreté
Très bien placé à Franshoek et un staff extrêmement sympathique. La villa est très jolie et je recommande d'y avoir une chambre plutôt que dans l'annexe située au fond du jardin. Les chambres auraient toutefois besoin d'un rafraîchissement et malheureusement nous n'avons pas pu utiliser la piscine car elle était trop sale. Le minibar pourrait aussi être plus fourni.

There didn’t seem to be any physical security apart from a single door lock and there were no staff on site all night. Most of the property looked tired and the pool wasn’t clean. There were broken tiles around the pool. Our room was next to a water pump that kept going off. Location was good.

Dear Guest Thank you for your stay and review, we are sad that you found our property tired and for the pool it is strange at this gets done daily, it might have been some leaves but not cleaned... Broken tile thank you for pointing it out we will have a look, for the pool pump it comes on every morning at 10:00 and shuts down at 17:00, to minimize any disturbance to our guests. For security we have cameras over the full property that gets monitored by our security company and ourselves, Franschhoek has always been very safe to all visiting. A short walk to town but the residents ce is beautiful. The room was clean spacious and the decor amazing. A very comfortable bed with lovely crisp linen. Peter was the perfect host and we could t have asked for a better stay

Absolutely gem of a find! Great location - 10 mins walk into centre of Franschhoek, gorgeous facilities - large suite style room with great en-suite (both shower and separate bath were plus for us golfers!), loads of space and beautifully clean! Bed was king size - and very comfy. Beautiful breakfast served in almost afternoon tea style with platter of continental offerings prior to cooked to order hot food. Special mention to the staff - Ellen was amazingly helpful and after local restaurant recommendation offered to phone up and book us table so we were guaranteed a table with view of sunset. If you are staying in the area, I would compel you to book here as I can’t see how anything else would be better. We hope to be back at some point on our next visit to South Africa

Près de la nature et très confortable
Un eco lodge vraiment très confortable. Les hôtes sont agréables et attentifs, Les repas très bons. Faire le Kosi Bay Mouth est un must. Nous avons également fait une grande balade à pied depuis le lodge, accompagnés par un guide. C’était très bien.

Simplismente perfeito em todos os detalhes ... tivemos um upgrade de quarto pelo fato do nosso estar pintando, o que só tornou a estadia mais agradável. Funcionários super educados e prestativos. Simplismente impecável!!!! Cafe da manhã delicioso...roupas de cama de otima qualidade, além do fato do lençol ser elétrico, o que trouxe um aconchego a mais nas noites geladas que fizeram.
