Great Apartment, Great Hosts
A great, central location in Cannes, near the beaches, shopping, fresh markets right outside your door and more. Also very close to train/bus station (1.5 blocks). The apartment comes with a thorough selection of brochures and information of things to do in Cannes and area, and they even provide a plug-in adapter for your non-european plugs = a thoughtful touch.
The apartment has very nice, with modern decor and new AC which was great for hot summer days. The appliances were nice and full sized, an anomaly in Europe. There is a BIG shower (by euro standards) which is always nice for big guests. There were ample dishes & cutlery, very comfy beds, even the full size pullout queen. The hosts were very accommodating. Sylvain & his daughter Manon received us and were very kind and helpful. They even had nice cool drinks and rose wine awaiting our arrival. We would definitely go back again.
Just note that you cannot taxi or uber right to your door; Rue Meynadier is a pedestrian-only street, but there is easy pick up points at either end of the block to pick-up/drop off.
