Good location, and the room was fairly well maintained and spacious, however one of the bed sheets was stained and we had to get a replacement linen. Additionally, the toilet is slightly small and gets quite cold.

Booked for 4 guests and we sure enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable, quiet and clean. Very good staff. Lost my room key and the after-hours staff came to the rescue in a couple of minutes. A place to be back!

Really happy with the room and the service received. I recommend this place for the guys touring to Canberra. The room was quiet clean and the room service changes your used towels and quilts everyday, and clears the rubbish as well. I could say that you won't be question anything on the room and services.

Good value for money, we liked that the room has a fridge and microwave. Quick drive to Canberra, 5-10 minute walk to Main Street in town with Cole’s, restaurants and pubs. Across the road from the inn there is Dominos, McDonald’s and hungry jacks.

The bed was unbelievable hard very uncomfortable, i didnt speak to reception for a differeng room as i thought they would all be the same. I ended up putting thecouch cushions on the bed snd slept on thise very uncomfotable but at least softer even my 8 year old who sleeps anywhere kept waking up. The bed hardness was attrocious. Everything else great but would not stay again or recommend due to bed. Only scored twrrible because horrific bed outwayed all other positives

We took deluxe room with a queen bed and bunk bed. The property is a bit dated but everything was functional and very clean. Bed sheets and towels looked like freshly washed. Pillow was comfortable to sleep in. Definitely one of the better motels in the area.

The aminities is not very good. Shower head installed too short that I can not wash your head straight. Door installed with out any air stopper. The room is very cold with icy air coming through door bottom.

The newly upgraded room has tasteful decor however the rain shower is totally impractical if you don't want to get your hair wet and the shelf in the shower is way too high to put anything on. It looks great but not practical. It was clean (except for the lipstick on the coffee cup) and the staff were nice and helpful. Good night's sleep was appreciated.

With almost all of the big take away chains across the road, and short walk to the CBD with three great pubs to choose from, you find the Golden Age Motel is in a tasty location. Supermarkets are nearby also. The rooms are lovely, and the staff friendly.

Unfortunately the night I stayed there was a bus load of school kids booked in. I booked well in advance and even on checkin wasn’t given a heads up which would have been nice. It was extremely noisy with the kids yelling out to each other, thumping, banging, crashing and doors slamming. I think the ones in the room were jumping off the beds. The room was ok. The bed not particularly comfortable but ok for one night. Overall a disappointing stay

We've stayed in many Queanbeyan Motels. For your classic Aussie 4 star motel this was excellent. Big spacious rooms & bathroom. Hot shower, very comfortable bed. Great ground level (free) parking. Plenty of rooms. This will probably be our new "go to" for regular visits.

The motel was clean, well kept and convenient to central Queanbeyan. Staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful. We had a king suite which was very clean, spacious and well appointed. Bed was good quality and comfortable. This ground-level room faced onto Macquoid street and was very quiet. Some of the units closer to Bungedore Road may have some traffic noise. Plenty of easy on-site parking. Surrounding area was a good urban environment. Would stay here again.
