„Wow. This house was extremely charming and well-furnished. Surrounded by trees and a great view of the lake, we could not have asked for more. Guessing the house at 800 to 1000 sq ft — so much more than our planned stay at the airport hotel. Nicely furnished, quiet — really quiet, and tastefully remodeled and decorated. Our stay was so much more than we expected. We thoroughly enjoyed this little gem.“

„My husband and I along with our 8 and 10 year old sons spent 2 nights here! We loved the cabin! It was clean, well stocked and beautiful! We spent the afternoons exploring Walnut Creek and Sugarcreek and loved the evenings on the patio….firepit, family games, and hot tub! It was a heat wave while visiting so the cabin was warm but we still lovedEvery minute! You won’t regret a stay here!“

„If you are making a trip to Holmes County and surrounding areas…this charming cottage is awesome. The location is great. This cottage was built in the 1800’s and the remodeling that had been done is incredible (be sure to check out the book with the before pictures). The kitchen is well stocked with more than the necessities. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return.“

We enjoyed sitting on the front deck listening to and watching the river go by. If you want a quiet place to relax after a day of exploring this is the place!“

„My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the little white house. The hosts decorated it for the Easter Holiday, which was an excellent touch. They provided a coffee bar, hot chocolate bar, and snacks to enhance the experience. The covered hot tub was fantastic, with an outside TV and a fenced-in yard for the pups. There's a grill, a fire pit, and an area to enjoy your meal outside. We had a pleasant stay and would go again.“

„The place was very clean and had everything we needed. It was also very close to town but remote enough to feel like you were living off grid. TIP: if you want to take a bath, it only has hot water. We filled it a little bit and let it sit overnight to turn cold. Then we added hot water to temp. The shower has both though. The animals were very friendly. I was a little concerned about the hooves on the front of the donkey. They needed a trim very badly. I did let the owner know. Hopefully ...

„If you are looking for a short, or long getaway, this is your place! It is so quiet and relaxing. There are ducks, geese and a very ornery peacock that my husband named Earl. He LOVES snacks! He is quite voiceterous and very beautiful. The pond is full of fish! Be sure to get permission to catch and release. The owners are very kind and quick to respond on any issues or questions. Enjoy some time at this cabin! You will not be disappointed.“
