„We stayed in the Basic Cabin with 1 queen, 2 twin beds. It was quaint, small, clean, old rustic and appeared to have had some renovations. The queen bed was soft and comfy. The twin bed mattresses were thin and harder. Couldn’t get the ceiling fan to work, and the gas wood stove wasn’t needed on a hot night. All the cooling came from a small window A/C unit. „Upon checking in, my partner started to have a bad reaction to all of the fresh exposed wood in the house. Neither of us were aware she had this sensitivity. It did not affect me at all. Amanda came to the rescue and was able to transfer us to another property right on the ocean in the heart of Bar Harbor, essentially saving our vacation. I will just say that the new property was so nice, it was a step down when we finally returned home after the vacation. Amanda rocks!!!“

„The stay was fine and the host a nice enough guy. However, just to lay out some facts: - The primary picture of the shed was taken before the units 1 and 2 were hung on the outside. The unit is half of that and you share a wall with another guest where you can hear everything they say or do. - The shed is about 50 yards from the primary house and about 50 feet from another structure that is an active construction site. - In order to turn on the AC, you have to stand on an old fold out wooden ...
