„We stayed at Gate Cottage for Christmas 2022 (22nd - 27 Dec) The Cottage comfortably sleeps 6 and is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer and all the kitchen equipment needed. „I had wonderful weather and the hosts could not have been more helpful. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. Only 2 criticisms: the mirror in the bathroom should be a few inches lower. I am 5ft 2 inches and could only see the top of my head and pepper and salt would be very nice.“

„From the outside this accommodation does not look promising- a ground floor property in a block of council flats, the shared hallway is pretty bleak. But the flat itself was fine, a bit basic but it had everything we needed, nice and clean, plenty of towels, quiet despite being next to a busy road. Parking was difficult - in theory there is on street parking but there is a Vehicle Hire/Garage business next door so all the parking spaces are taken up by their vehicles.
