"We received a complimentary room upgrade and were absolutely delighted. The room was very spacious, modern and thoughtfully designed, with a kitchenette and refrigerator, a lovely balcony and a generously sized bathroom. The views were particularly impressive – overlooking the harbour on one side and the Port de Plaisance marina on the other. Simply beautiful. We also really enjoyed the breakfast: a wide selection, with everything being replenished right up until the end of breakfast service. A particular highlight is the breakfast room on the top floor. With nothing obstructing the view, you have a fantastic panorama of the sea and harbour. You can also dine there in the evening. We did not use the spa ourselves, but it also looked very inviting. The location of the hotel is excellent. There are numerous restaurants, bars and cafés in the immediate vicinity, most of them just a few minutes’ walk away. Free parking is also available nearby. At weekends, however, this has become a very popular nightlife area, so it can be lively and sometimes noisy outside until after midnight. With the windows closed, though, you hardly hear anything, and the rooms are air-conditioned. We actually preferred sleeping with the windows open and enjoying the fresh sea air. For us, it was a wonderful stay in every respect. The hotel fully deserves its four stars and we would happily stay here again. Highly recommended and full marks from us!"

"Das Hotel ist zentral in der Innenstadt, direkt an der Fußgängerzone gelegen. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Mehr Ibis kennt, kennt auch die Zimmer hier. Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Geparkt haben wir an der Festung auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz, in etwa 150 m entfernt sehr günstig. Am Hotel selbst sind nur wenige Parkplätze, die alle belegt waren. Für uns hat es gepasst. Preisleistung war in Ordnung."
