"It’s a beautiful hotel with great staff. Usually, I always stayed at Ushuaïa, but this time I chose the Palladium Select. As I said, everything was perfectly fine. However, on the day of my departure, most of Ibiza was flooded. Many roads were closed — but not all. Friends of mine were staying in a rather inexpensive hotel in Ibiza Town, and that hotel faced the same problems. Still, their guests were taken to the airport. Especially in a 5-star resort, I expect solutions even in difficult situations — not a simple “it’s not possible.” “We can’t do that,” “we don’t have that,” “it’s not possible,” etc., are things I don’t expect to hear in any 5-star resort, no matter where I am in the world. The fact that it was possible is proven by the fact that I eventually walked myself along a small road leading to DC10 and continued from there to the airport. On the main road to the airport, traffic was chaotic, yes, but the road wasn’t closed — just like many others weren’t either. In this situation, the hotel should have come up with solutions instead of refusals."

"Sauberkeit, Ausblick und das sehr freundliche Personal waren super. Zu bemängeln wären der bunkerartige Speiseraum mit sehr wenig Abwechslung und Auswahl beim Abendessen, die völlig durchgelegenen Matratzen, der unschöne Baustil und die Reservierungspflicht von Sonnenbetten für 40 Euro (im eigenen Hotel!), die doch recht viel Platz am Pool einnehmen. Insgesamt eher was für Party People ohne große Ansprüche, aber auch für uns ein guter Kompromiss (wir haben sowohl bisschen gefeiert als auch viel Erkundung gemacht). Ist eben eine teure Ecke..."
