Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen. In der Zufahrt sind nur wenige Parkmöglichkeiten für den Check-In, jedoch ist dieser sehr schnell möglich. Das Personal an der Rezeption hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Wir konnten auch früher einchecken, als angegeben. Beim Check-In konnte ein Parkplatz, wie vorher mit dem Hotel über Expedia kommunuziert, dazugebucht werden. Die Zufahrt zur Tiefgarage erfolgte über eine Kennzeichen Erkennung, was sehr bequem war. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und gut ausgestattet. Wir hatten einen fantastischen Blick auf die Rocky Mountains. Die Innenstadt ist sehr schnell zu erreichen und die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten in gehweite.

Construction around the hotel make it very difficult to park. I should have called before I undertook the epic quest to find the entrance to parking. A heads-up from Expedia or the hotel itself would have been a big help

We would have enjoyed our stay at Sandman better had it not been for the construction that was happening on the road and drilling through the night. Other than that, the space was clean, bed was comfy! loved the convenience of a restaurant right in the hotel. Great amenities, train station just a few steps away which would make exploring downtown easy. The staff were incredibly friendly! Many thanks to Chaitali and Kateryna for their awesome service!

This hotel was amazing- sleek, modern style carefully appointed. The staff is both friendly and considerate. The one thing I wasn’t happy with was the loud combination of musics playing in the lobby and restaurant, which compete with each other and make it unpleasant.

Nice hotel experience. We were on 12th floor which was very quiet, even with the c-train right outside. It’s located in very convenient place because of the c-train proximity (in the free fare zone) but it’s also one of Calgary’s worst areas for street drug use so safety might be a concern if you’re a solo traveller.

I would say this is an average mid level hotel. We were mostly happy with our stay, the location is good for walking downtown, but it is right beside the train so it was very loud. There was construction right infront of the parking entrance that you could only access from the south which is not the hotels fault, but a warning would have been nice as it was our first time driving downtown and it was stressful. As for the hotel itself, staff were very friendly and polite, we didn’t realize it was paid parking and so they ungraded us to a king suite to be courteous. The hotel room was average, some garbage left behind, but pretty clean other wise. Hot water took about 5 minutes before it was even warm, it got hot eventually. The bed was pretty stiff but not too bad. Very much an average experience for us for the price. Would we stay here again? Possibly, but we’ve decided staying downtown is not for us due to the busyness.

The area is somewhat sketchy and did not feel safe past it's locked hours. The showering ammendities we're passable however were somewhat limited. Room cleaning didn't touch any used provided glasses, so they added up over a few days. The bed cleanup was supberb and the staff were kind, however there was some miscommunication on the system of parking payment that caused me to spend unnecessarily for the first 2 nights.

The hotel was wonderful and the front desk staff very helpful. Paper cups gave the quality a little cheap feel but that was it Sadly the service at the attached restaurant Moxies was a huge letdown but nothing to do with the hotel at all.
