Our guest came and told us that they would be checking out one day early to head on to thier next destination.They did not like Puerto Viejo,he wanted a refund for this night.We explained that we had turned away so many people in this christmas week to keep the room for him and the policy was that there was no refund for this last minute same day check out. There is always a risk in case like this.If you deny a refundan angry guest in revenge attack to cause harm by creating a false narrative.

This is not an honest review.There are no falling roofs, the beds are confortable with pillows that are cheked to change if necessary. Actually there are no TV and the opportunity to get away and refocus is almost universally welcomed by our clients. When someone is angry because its raining and angrier because we do not refund for the rain throwing stones is simply meanspirited

This is not a truthful representation of La Costa de Papito.These are meaninspirited, invented descriptions intended to do harm. The email contact with the client was so irrational and aggressive that we contacted Expedia with our concerns. Upon arrival the client complained that the yellow parking lot dividers were “weird” and caused him to lose his balance!! This may sound humorous but there was nothing funny about this person. Agitated, unreasonable and VINDICTIVE. Actually scary.

This client requested our economical cabin option ($59) which we explain clearly in it´s description that some morning kitchen noise may be a factor .The Bungalows are much more comfortable .The toilet tank takes a minute to fill up so you have to wait a moment to flush again ? So sorry he dind´t enjoy the breakfast . The buffet breakfast offers so many different things that a complaint is rare.

Unfortunately these guest were with us during a few days of very heavy rains and one morning we wake to find that a part of the property was flooded and the to their bungalow walkway was under water!! We get so many good compliments about the restaurant that I don't know what happened to disappoint these guest ?? Some with breakfast? I spoke to the staff and they told me that one day the daily special pancakes had run out and I apologize if at some point there was something else missing.

Entonces no deberia ser una sorpresa ya que en ninguno de ellos menciona que tenemos dichos servicios. Un cliente informado es un cliente feliz!. Saludos .

If you want air conditioning and a refrigerator and book a hotel that doesn't offer that then you are not going to be very happy and you make your host hotel uncomfortable. There is an adirondack chair ,a hammock ,a table with benches on the porch ,overhead ceiling fans over each bed and blankets because it gets cool at night.

This was an uncomfortable situation for us .Two seniors who booked with us to stay at the same hotel that their adult kids booked with their families .Big mistake. They need air conditioning and a pool and we don’t have that! We give them special treatment and give them a refund, they go to another hotel which they should have booked to begin with (at twice the price) and then in this review they throw eggs at us. "Primitive Hotel" rating us 2 out 5, complaining there was little security and open windows. We have a guard and a full perimeter sensor security system? I suspect because of a comment that that was made that they were somehow unnerved by our multicultural, multiethnic community and felt uneasy .Too bad. If they had left the windows open at night they might have had to use the blankets that are on the beds because the temperature drops at night.
