„We had a very nice stay at the Oakfield House B&B for just one night. Our host Stephen provided a very warm welcome and served tea and cookies after we settled in. He also provided advice on where to eat in Betws-Y-Coed, how to get there via a very nice path along the river and finally borrowed one of his wife's jackets. The room itself was very nice, plenty of space and a very good bed for a good night's sleep. If we ever get to that part of Wales again, we'll definitely stay the the ...

„What a lovely experience. The room was spacious and had room to sit and enjoy a drink. The communal lounge was a beautiful space, with an honesty bar, and we were invited to use the fridge to store our own drinks if required. There is no meal service outside of breakfast, but the local area has several options. Breakfast was pre-ordered the night before, and was freshly cooked. Staff were friendly and attentive. This was a really enjoyable stopover. “

„Fabulous hosts and really accommodating. Our day didn’t go exactly to plan and they were more than happy to delay our dinner a little bit. Cream tea on arrival was lovely. The packed lunch made for us to take up Snowdon was just what we needed and the dinner on our return (although we were 20-30 minutes late) went down well. After climbing a mountain, the bed was so comfortable and we slept so well. We will definitely be going back. “

„What a fabulous place and amazing owners. Nigel and Clare are just lovely people. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The alpacas, ducks and hens make it a really interesting place to stay as well. Much easier travel into Betws, Conwy and Snowden from this side as well.“

„Our first time staying here. We were impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the heads up on A55 problems and that there was a silent fan in our comfortable bedroom on one of the warmest days of the year. The evening meal and breakfast were very good too. We will be back.“
