Bei der Buchung sollte man sich nur im Klaren sein, daß Hatteras sehr weit im Süden der Outer Banks liegt. Wenn man Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sucht - perfekt. Die Fahrt in den nördlichen Teil der Outer Banks zieht sich ziemlich. Also gut überlegen was man bei einem Aufenthalt dort tun möchte. The Villas at Hatteras Landing ist als Unterkunft wunderschön. “

„We had a great week! Very quiet & peaceful location on the sound all while being very close to the beach, grocery stores and restaurants. Plenty of room for extended family to have their own space, all while having great common areas to spend time together. The location was fantastic- 5 min walk to the beach was super easy but honestly our boys loved fishing from the dock and using the kayaks just as much. Pickleball was a blast at Kinnakeet. "Der erste Anblick ist etwas konfus, wohl durch das bunte Ambiente der einzelnen Hausabschnitte. Tatsächlich haben wir auf unserer Reise allerdings die beste Ausstattung der Räumlichkeiten in einem Motel vorgefunden. Das Bad war mit einer großen, ebenerdigen Dusche ausgestattet und sogar gefliest. Die Küchenzeile hat eine Kaffeemaschine mit Zubehör, einen Kühlschrank und eine Mikrowelle und viel Ablagemöglichkeiten. Koch- und Grillmöglichkeiten sind in einem außen liegenden Gemeinschaftsbereich großzügig vorhanden. Der Service war stets gut, der Empfang sehr nett, unkompliziert. Auch haben wir viele Tipps für gute Restaurants in der Nähe bekommen. Beim Auschecken musste lediglich der Schlüssel abgegeben werden. Alles in einem: Sehr zu empfehlen."
