„We had a great few days here with the in-laws.The view is lovely. Property was advertised & clean. Great space.We were met by Jill who was very friendly & the welcome pack of bread, milk, butter & cake was very much appreciated.Can thoroughly recommend the Old Inn pub just a 3 minute drive away. Great pub food“

„We loved our stay - property was clean and in good condition, and walkable to everything we wanted to do. Would stay here again. Pro tip - there’s a coffee shop run out of a church about a block away. Hours are atypical, but great coffee and the nicest people on planet earth!!!“

„The house was very clean, well equipped and quiet. We were staying to visit our daughter at college and this proprty was perfect for that. Its centrally located, easy to park and made a great base for our stay. The bedrooms are lovely and there is lots of living space. Theres even a cute garden. Highly recommended.“

„The property was basic but very roomy and clean. TV, shower and bed were great, as was being able to park on the drive. Really appreciated the little extras like tea, coffee, toiletries, washing up liquid etc. Contactless check-in was simple, with very fast communication from the owner whenever I text. Loads of takeaway food options and Tesco mini market nearby which was very convenient too. Thanks “

„Wir waren mit einer Gruppe Frauen 7 Tage dort. Die Betten sind hervorragend. Eine große Küche bietet Platz für alle. Das Wohnzimmer diente uns als Seminarraum. Der englische Charme war in jedem Raum präsent. Der Garten ist riesig groß und hervorragend gepflegt. Jeden Tag konnte man im Garten etwas neues entdecken. Leider haben wir zu wenig Zeit im Landhaus verbracht. David war ein hervorragender Gastgeber- jederzeit ansprechbar und sehr bemüht. Wir kommen wieder. Danke für die wunderbare Zeit. ...

„The property was very well equipped & in a lovely position on the site. It was very peaceful. The couple of queries we had were immediately resolved by the reception staff. If I was pushed to have a slight negative comment it would be that there were no instruction booklets for the kitchen appliances. “

„We were celebrating my wife’s 70th birthday, and wanted comfortable and special accommodation for family members and friends. We also wanted to be able to enjoy a grand meal together for up to 14 of us. Compton House was perfect for us - a very unusual and lovely property. Our host was very responsive and very helpful in every way. Thank you so much Patricia, we really enjoyed our stay in your beautiful house.“

„Check in fine.Did have to mention that property was wrongly advertised as having two showers.Lounge chair collapsed due to faulty worn legs No lid on waste bin in the kitchen.Sadly would not stay at this property in the future.“

„As described, convenient location to everywhere you can walk to in Cardiff. Property was clean, comfortable, air a bit smokey. Keeping the windows open helped alleviate the smell by the 2d day. Property was perfect for 2 adults -convertible sofa was comfortable and simple to operate. Property had a lot of thoughtful touches that were really appreciated. Future U.S. guests should bring their own power converter in order to recharge phones, tablets, and MACs. Local shops closest to the property do ...

We felt at home from the very first moment, it always felt just right to return from day trips to nearby situated cities, natural beauties and historical sites. "Der schlechteste Ramada in dem wir je waren... Die Zimmer müssten dringend neu gemacht werden und der Zimmerservice ist unterirdisch; kein Zimmer gemacht während unseres gesamten Aufenthaltes von 3 Nächten, obwohl wir darum gebeten hatten. Frühstück war überschaubar und an den drei Tagen gab es keinen Orangen (out of stock). Die Geschäftsführung versuchte das ganze Chaos mit dem Wochenende und dem darauf folgenden Bank Holiday zu rechtfertigen (mehr Gäste / weniger Personal), aber wenn man die Kommentare insgesamt liest, scheint das eher der Normalzustand zu sein. Absolut zu vermeiden!"
