„Location was excellent. Room was ideal, staff were very polite and very helpful. Nice continental breakfast.“

„Avoid this place and save your money for something better. Family member of host living at property making loud noise all morning. Bathroom was disgusting, wasn’t able to have a wash. No parking as advertised only on 2 roads away.“

„What a lovely place to stay. Olde World on the exterior - modern interior. Lots of storage, comfy bed, great bathroom, onsite and secure parking. Located in a village, a 5 minute walk from a grocery store. The kithenette included tea, coffee, drinking chocolate and milk. Appliances included an electric kettle, microwave and toaster. Quiet location, easy access. Highly recommended.“

„When I eventually managed to check in I found that my room smelt funny. The windows were open so I guessed that the smell may have come from the outside. There was no staff at the guest house for me to speak to. When I returned to the room after getting some food I found that the smell was coming from the damp mattress and the smell I believed was urine. I rung the contact number I had, but nobody answered. „**Evaluation of The Oxford Retreat Guest House** The Guest House, located just outside of Oxford, is exceptionally clean and cosy, providing a welcoming family atmosphere. The service was great, with very friendly and attentive owners. It's easy to reach the city center by public transportation, and made it a convenient, affordable and a good choice for us. “

„Zentrale Lage , sehr saubere und gute Ausstattung.“

„I had a very nice recently refurbished room, which was quiet despite being near the Summertown shops, Lovely staff,, thanks a lot,“

„Upton house requires a tidy up. The garage lean-to was a bit unsightly.“
