„We loved the Marcela Resort. It was a 2-bedroom / 2-bath unit, and very large - at least by US standards. From the wrap-around deck, it had an amazing view of the pool, down the mountain, and out to the ocean. It had a full kitchen, separate jacuzzi, and in-unit laundry. The price was still very reasonable. The whole property was well-kept and nicely decorated. „Absolutely lovely stay for one night, wish we could have stayed longer! Spacious, clean, with beautiful views. Staff was extremely friendly. Easy walk to the beach area, bit of a challenge walking back up the hill but very doable and well worth it. “

„The 5th floor of the Marcela was exactly as pictured. The suits were clean and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We at breakfast in the hotel and had room service one evening and enjoyed the food and the wait staff. We spent afternoons at the pool. The only issue we had was the staff wasn’t interested in offering us drinks. We found it easier to bring our own down then try to get them from the bar. In all it was a hotel we will visit again!“
