We went to bed with no siren and traffic sounds from the city and woke up with the songs of birds. Recommend this place for people who need a get away from the hustling of a busy life. The hostess was more than accommodating.“

„Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. „We were the first guests in Cottage Aherlow and felt very comfortable there. It is a newly renovated and tastefully furnished holiday home with a large kitchen and a comfortable dining and living area. Two of the three bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms, which we found really handy, the third bathroom with bathtub is located in the basement. „A quirky and eclectic house, not the for tall of stature. It's a traditional style of Irish country cottage set in a gorgeous Limerick valley. If you like country living and a break from the mundane, this is a good choice. Watch out for the oil heating bill at the end though.“

„Property was nice, comfortable and clean. Location is great with a short walk to many of Bunratty's attractions. The gas fireplace was a nice addition. The property manager was responsive and helpful. My only issue and it's small is I don't think the people renting a property should be expected to strip beds. I would stay again!“

„Tom was the perfect landlord. A warm welcome, he explained us everything we needed. A beautiful cozy cottage in a small village, calm and peaceful. We really enjoyed it and it was the perfect start for all our tours to Killarney, Cork, limerick, Cliffs of Moher, Galway and so on. Bigger supermarkets are ca. 20min away, small express markets are close so a car is always needed.
