„A gem of a cottage which had been restored to a really high standard. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, log burner with plenty of wood and loved all the decor/pictures throughout. A welcome basket with local goodies was also a nice touch. We loved the folder full of the history on the property and all the pictures of the other houses/buildings in the village which we went to find on our walks with our dog. Would highly recommend. “

Historisch bedeutet auch schiefe Fußböden, hohe Stufen und keine Doppelfenster, was tagsüber doch zu einer hohen Lärmbelästigung führt, da der Weg zu einem großen Parkplatz am Haus vorbeigeht. Nachts ist es ruhig. Das Haus ist größtenteils sauber. Die Möblierung in den Schlafzimmern ist auf das Nötigste beschränkt, so gibt es kaum Stühle, um Kleidung abzulegen. „We bought the 3 night stay as gift for our son's birthday. After a 3 hour journey they could not access the property as the keysafe code we had been given was incorrect. My wife and I were out for a meal and spent over an hour trying to contact someone that could give us the correct code. Eventually after nearly 2 hour they were able to guess the code and gain entry. Customer service and support were pathetic and left them stranded in the rain.“
