Period character runs throughout, while the layout over several levels gives everyone their own space, including a snug twin room and a top-floor main room with a comfortable double. On the lower level, a well-equipped kitchen with dining area makes it easy to prepare home-style meals and eat together. The cottage is decorated for Christmas, bringing a cheerful festive touch to winter breaks. From Church Square you can stroll to Viking Bay’s sandy beach to swim or play on the sand, then enjoy Broadstairs’ independent cafés, pubs and restaurants or visit the Dickens House Museum, Bleak House and the historic Palace Cinema. Nearby Margate, Ramsgate and cliff-top walking and cycling routes add plenty of choice for days out by the sea.
