Zum Golfen ist es okay
Zum Golfen ist es okay, von Luxus weit entfernt. Liegt ziemlich außerhalb von Bristol und tings um ist nichts als Natur. Service war gut, Zimmerzustand: befriedigend.

Great place to stay. I played a round of golf in the afternoon as well. The only downside, is the heavily closing front door. Someone came in/left at midnight, and it sounded like a car crash.

Decent place to stay, but perhaps only in summers. Unfortunately the restaurant shuts at 6pm during winter, which I got told only after a non-refundable payment was made. The golf course is well kept, EV charger is a bonus.

Stayed here before a flight from Bristol. Lovely room, very clean, cosy and absolutely no noise. Room 3 - single room. Ate in the clubhouse, food very good, and great portion size, not expensive. All in all well worth the money👍

Lovely hotel
Lovely little rooms, basic but perfect for overnight stay for Bristol airport, although the room lacked somewhere to sit comfortably so not great for more than one night's stay. Restaurant was really nice and food fantastic!

Such a shame
The place and surrounding area is lovely sadly the clientele that frequent this establishment bring it down its a nice place with a council estate feel, Rooms are quite tatty and you have no chance of sleep as there adjoining rooms with doors on both sides and you can hear absolutely everything Next door not only had a bad snore but also a terrible cough. 1am the people upstairs returned we had an hour of knocking bang off the metal stairs and paper thin ceiling then taps running shower on and then we could hear them moving around in bed. We did have a meal there which was lovely but sadly we had to leave as soon as we had eaten due to the foul language again from the drunken patrons. just to add to the council estate feel as we was packing the car to leave a guy farted as he walked past quite loudly and the sudden smell of sewage hit the air. This place could be so much more but its so let down by the clientele and the accommodation being so noisy cars start arriving quite early so don't expect a lie in and you hear every door open and shut and drive on the gravel. Wouldn't use again but could be a nice place

Great Location. Decent Rooms. Questionable Service
I have stayed here before and the rooms are decent for the price. Excellent views and in an idyllic location. However, and disappointingly complete indifference to customer service. Waited at the bar for 15 mins and bar staff seemed completely disinterested both at check in and check out and food/beverage ordering. As a golf club one would imagine this is top drawer. As a hotel it leaves a lot to be desired frankly, and this is no fault of the rooms themselves, just simple basic customer service & attentiveness.

Medium to Well Done
Excellent location & easy to access. I like the quirkiness of the room complex. I didn’t like the lack of soundproofing between rooms. I was woken early, around 5am, by someone, and as the rooms face the car park, the inevitable cacophony of golfers arriving & kitting up was my wakeup call. I liked the approachability of staff, but the food menu is limited to whatever is frozen. Lack of fresh fruit & veg is evident..! I chose to eat away from the place after the first night. Overall, it has all the potential of a great place, although l sense it’s run by committees.

Room was clean and beds were comfortable, we have stayed here before and in the same room as our last visit room number 19. The room was booked for 2 people and again the issues were the same as last time there was only one cup!!, the roller blinds are transparent so the room is light from about 4.30 am in the summer months

Room walls very thin, could here the rooms next door conversation and domeone driving erratically early in the morning. Not the hotels fault for how noisy other people are.

Ok but restaurant could be a bit more helpful
I rang several days before our trip to say I would arrive slightly after their 8:30pm last check-in (as we were traveling on a Friday evening from Suffolk). Was told "no problem". However was not told there would be no food available! On a Friday evening? So arrived just after 8:30pm to find the kitchen had just shut and too bad they couldn't / wouldn't help us (having just driven 4 1/2 hours). Fortunately was able to get to a local pub before their Kitchen closed at 9pm. Then arrived for breakfast at 8am only to find nobody there. The chef then came out and helped us and got us food. Front of house staff then turned up late. That said the room was fine and comfortable and clean.

Paper thin doors and 70 year old clowns
There are adjoining doors between the rooms so you hear everything, not good when you have to be up at 4.30am for a flight. Everything else was fine except for some long haired golfer who thought that he would be a clown the following morning (I stayed 2 nights) and stood in front of my work van and wouldn’t move in order to show off to his mates. You’d think men in their 70s would know better. If I didn’t think that he’d soil himself I would have got out of my van to shut him up but I’m sure he would have contacted my company and complained.

Staff at check in were rude. Room not serviced Walls paper thin and doors banging all night DO NOT stay in room 11. There is a golf buggy park right outside the room. We were awoken by the constant stream of people collecting their buggies

Clean, comfortable and welcoming
Really warm reception and a lovely setting. The signage for accommodation wasn’t very clear but we found it. The accommodation was immaculate and sparkling clean. A welcome quick stop before our flight the next day, from Bristol airport, a 15 drive away.
