This was our 2nd stay at Queens Wharf. It was enjoyable stay but a little disruptive.
We were initially in one apartment for 1 night which had a few midgees. Housekeeping attended the apartment and sprayed insect spray. That was all fine.
The main issue was the air-condition was complicated and our bedroom didn't seem to work. So we asked reception to help. They weren't able to get it to work either. So they moved us to another apartment where the air condition was working in all the rooms.
On our last night before we were checking out, our safe wouldn't open. We were due to be at the airport in 2 hours to fly back to London. So as you can understand, this was quite stressful with possibility of missing our flights.
Reception sent 1 person to look at the safe. She was not able to get it opened and said she was getting another person. Despite telling her that we need the safe to be open urgently to go to the airport, no one showed for 15min. We had to call back and chase 2nd person.
Thankfully after 3 people were sent to look at it, we managed to get our belongings from the safe and made the flight.
Apart from having to move apartment and safe issues, the apartment was modern, clean and comfortable. We would stay again.
A couple areas where it needs improvement -
1. Lifts takes too long
2. Parking is too expensive.
