Hi Rainer, Thank you for your review of your stay with us recently. I'm sorry to hear that your stay got off to an unfortunate start and we were unable to meet our high standards. It does look as if there were a few missteps that might have snowballed into a larger problem, and for that, I do apologise. I understand that the room was not set up to your expected configuration when you arrived, however, I can see that the request for two single beds came from yourself through an amendment via Hotels.com. This may have been an accident, which can be common when trying to navigate online booking sites, however, this was the reason the room was configured with two singles for your arrival. Is it to my understanding, however, that one of our lovely front desk agents came up in a timely manner to change the bedding back to a king sized configuration. Traffic through Brisbane City at peak times can absolutely be quite long. Due to this, most people opt to take the many public transport options close by. However, as I'm sure you can understand, this is completely out of our control. Once again, I would like to express my sincere apolgies that your experience did not live up to your expectations and we hope to welcome you back in the near future to improve on your experience.
