We stayed for 4 nights, and the experience was faultless. Great location just 5 mins walk from all the activities in South Bank. Felt safe at night. Modern hotel in excellent condition, very clean, great service from all staff. Room was very well-equipped, modern and clean. Breakfast was very good and good value. Reception and bar / restaurant area very well-presented. Good pool and well-equipped gym. Only two tiny criticisms - the outdoor pool was a little too cold to really use (I understand it can be heated), and the shower in our room wasn't very powerful. But these are tiny compared to the overall excellent experience.

A horrible experience. Booked in and they insisted I pay the hotel upfront even though I had booked via expedia and they had authenticated my credit card. Arrived at the room the corridor wall was full of patches, there were no hangars or or glasses in the room. These were delivered later. Next day return to room late afternoon, the used towels are still on the floor together with all the dirty glasses. It takes 30 minutes to have towels and clean glasses delivered to our room, told the hotel is very busy and cant provide ta quicker service. The gym is not clean and the equipment in poor repair, 3 of the 4 Bikes either had parts missing or were broken, the pedals of the elliptical trainer were so dirty that my shoes stuck to the pedals. Reported this nothing was done. The service of the room the next day was lacking, we received clean towels but all our dirty glasses were left behind. I am a silver member - when I asked why my stay did not qualify for the points I was told it was because we booked via an external booking engine. Will not use the Novotel chain if I can help it.

Amazing location & the staff are wonderful.!
Check in was very fast and easy. The check staff are AMAZING. We arrived 2.5 hrs earlier than the actual check in arrival time and they were so accommodating and found us a room immediately, so we could check in earlier and didn’t have to wait until 2pm. We checked out at 3am in the morning and there was a friendly face at the front desk to ask if we need assistance with cabs to the airport and ask how our trip was. It was our first stay here and we will be back again. Great location & awesome staff.

We had booked another unit at Morgan Suites that was not to our standards. Etc musty smell. I went on Hotels.com again and found this hotel nearby and booked it. It’s something I should have done at the beginning.

Great location, quick walk to south bank streets beach. Buffet breakfast had a good variety. Rooms were lovely. Parking charges expensive especially when already paying quite a lot to stay. Parking spots very small, not a lot of space to get in and out of your doors. Pool and gym good. Most staff were excellent.

Superb location and hotel
We were pleasantly surprised by Novotel, we have never stayed at a Novotel before so was not sure what to expect. The room was lovely and spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the hotel was very quite. We were staying there for a visit to the theatre so the location was great as it was in walking distance. We would definitely stay again.
