„The house is nicely decorated and was very clean. We only had to get rid of a large number of spiders, but that was due to our arachnophobia. It is a place where one can really calm down and relax and it´s great that dogs are allowed. We enjoyed walking along the coast and down to the "beach" where we saw some quite "dramatic" sunsets. The only downside was, that the 2 lower bedrooms were damp so that we needed to keep dehumidifiers running. But still one of the bedrooms had a quite unpleasant ...

„Plenty of space for 4 adults. The outside verandah was well used as it was so peaceful and quiet to sit out on. Three toilets to the property was a great advantage. The property is not overlooked. The journey to the property is along narrow lanes but with plenty of routes to choose from.“

„Warm.welcome on check in with a box of chocs too. Great peaceful location. Access lanes a challenge but wprth the effort. Village had 2 great pub restaurants we ate at very warm and friendly. Great base to go explore devon. Will be back.“

Had not known about Appledore before we went but its just perfect, would definitely reccomend, from the rockpooling and crabbing opportunities with the kids to wandering down to the Coffee Cabin first thing and simply enjoying the holiday atmosphere and estuary views. We finshed with a meal at the Beaver Inn (book early as its busy)- really nice pub. Oh, and not forgetting the Devonshire ice cream ...

„Wir hatten einen ganz wunderbaren Aufenthalt im "prospect cottage". Die Lage ist prima, der Ort zauberhaft und das Cottage einfach nur wunderbar. Uns fehlte es an nichts! Besonders herauszustellen ist, dass das Cottage sehr sauber war und bestens ausgestattet. In der Nähe ist ein Pub, in dem man gut essen gehen kann. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen.“

„Poyers Farmhouse is a perfect cottage for 2 families and 2 dogs. The rooms are all spacious and quirky and work really well for 2 families. We found everything we needed and the hot tub and garden were appreciated by everyone. It is in a great location, walking distance to the Tarka Trail, Braunton and a good pub 5 minutes walk away. Would definitely recommend.“
