„There's no AC in the room or air circulation, and the heat was controlled elsewhere. I texted the owner twice about the heat, and it dropped by a bit but rebounded. Unless I left the door open, and the room opens to the kitchen, there's nowhere for the heat to go. I was sweltering for most of the stay. „A nice space to stay, I will say the paver stones on the path down to the door nearly took me and my cane out because quite a few of them were loose, not super accessible at all but it’s not really marketed as such so it is what it is. The AC was either off or not low enough the entire time we were there I was sweating buckets, with no way to change it that I could find. I also just run very hot so that may be a me problem. „Toronto Travellers Home is very central. TTC is near by and if you want to walk to downtown or Dundas square, it takes you about 30 minutes. It is in middle of Chinatown. The service was very nice. The rooms are clean but very small and there was no closet but a fridge. If you’re looking for complete peace and quiet, this might not be the ideal accommodation, as the walls are thin and sounds can sometimes be heard.“
