„Schmuddeliges Zimmer, eng, keine Möglichkeit, gut abzuschließen. Das Bad absolut schmuddelig, schimmlige Fugen, fehlende Fliesen, schmutzige Toilette. Wir haben trotzdem übernachtet, aus lauter Müdigkeit, haben aber auf statt in den Betten geschlafen. Am nächsten Morgen: nichts wie weg!“

„We were greeted warmly by our host. Lots of secure parking, lovely garden and pool. Comfortable room, very clean but maybe a little dated. WiFi was good. Even with load shedding a very nice breakfast was served. The staff were so nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay.“

„I love spacious rooms and Adelante fits within that. Leaving aside the space issue the room was homely, a coffee table and two sofas. I however like a bath as opposed to a shower. This was the only sticky issue for me. The Lodge is located near a mall and therefore restaurants are around the corner. Tha was a big plus for me. “

„Wow, what an outstanding little gem this lodge was. Traveled to the Eastern Cape with family and stopped over for an evening here. The gentleman who helped us does the night shift alone and what amazing service he gave. The rooms were spotless, well ventilated and stocked. Great service, beautiful rooms and perfectly located. 10/10 would visit again. “

„I arrived at Ilanga Estate at about 4pm after driving over 650 kms from Durban . I was turned away at the gate and told the hotel is closed . I insisted on going in and going to the bathroom , the security lady wasn’t too happy about that , the entire place was empty , doors locked , nor one car or a single other person. It was traumatic. I specifically checked into a hotel for room service after heavy days driving and to relax ready for the next leg of my journey . After going to and fro ...

„I booked a family unit with one double bed and two singles only go get there to one bed. The lady we called said we will have to pay extra for every person who will be sleeping in their unit. We had to fight for one more person and ended up looking for another guest house for the other two people yet we paid for the family unit.“

Als wir den Schreibtisch und die Nachtlästchen geputzt haben war das Tuch nach einmal drüberfahren braun. Zudem waren im Klo noch Hinterlassenschaften des Vormieters. Das Zimmer wurde schon länger nicht mehr richtig geputzt. Daraus resultiert auch die schlechte Bewertung.“
