My friend and I really liked the VRBO called "Mountain View". It was in a good location for our hiking days and local sightseeing, and the home had nearly everything we needed with two bedrooms, closet and drawer space, a nice bathroom, and a kitchen with most of what you could need. It had a parking spot, but was difficult to use with an SUV, so we parked nearby. Also, one of the features mentioned on the listing was a “tumble dryer” which was important to us so we could pack less for our trip and wash/dry our clothes quickly between hikes. Unfortunately, there was no tumble dryer. Overall, we were happy with Mountain View, but I gave it 4 stars primarily because there was no dryer (which was important to us).So, the downside of booking this was the 3rd party that processes this listing. Since my review keeps getting disapproved, I won’t mention their name here (starts with cott, ends with ages).com. I give them 1 star. I’m going to skip the long story and the part about 5 hours of wasted time, and get directly to the point. To make a payment by credit card you have to call an international phone number in the UK. Alternatively, you can get a form to make a bank transfer, which I believe would come with international transfer fees. Likely not a problem if you live in the UK, but for us international folks, this could add time and/or expense to your travel plans. Knowing what I know now, I would not book an accommodation if it goes through this third party processor.
