STAY AWAY!!!!
That was a horrible stay for us. 1 - Dirty, Stinky and old. 2 - They re not coming to clean. i said 3-4 times after that they did it 3 - there re lots of better alternatives close to Radisson for that price.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat versucht einen jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen Allerdings gab es in dem Hotel keine Computer um sich für den Rückflug einzudecken... ... Aber immerhin durfte ich mein flug Ticket an der Reception ausdrucken! Wie gesagt das Personal war sehr freundlich 😊

Positiv: sehr freundliches Personal an Rezeption und beim Frühstück. Frühstück sehr abwechslungsreich und reichhaltig. Negativ: Hotel ist alt, runtergekommen. Sehr negativ: Klimaanlage im Zimmer hat nur stinkende, feuchte Luft umgewälzt, nicht gekühlt. Fenster lassen sich nicht öffnen, muffiger Geruch im Zimmer (früheres Raucherzimmer?). Keine Lüftung/Absaugung im Bad. Unmöglich, sich in dem Zimmer aufzuhalten. Reklamation an der Rezeption blieb erfolglos.

Das Hotel ist fast direkt neben dem Hauptbahnhof (Newstreet) und die Innenstadt beginnt direkt hinter dem Bahnhof. Es gibt viele pubs und Restaurants in der Nähe .

Kurzer Trip, Hotel war an einem tollen Ort. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück und das Hoteleigene Restaurant sind sehr empfehlenswert.

Comfortable room near Station
Huge windows, a lot of light (13th floor). Quiet. Big, very comfortable bed. Pleasant and efficient staff. Great breakfast with lots of choice and freshly made coffee and pancakes or omelettes.

We had booked for a 2 night stay with parking. We were told we could only park for one night and had to move the car the next day to a public car park as they had other guests parking! The car park recommended was full. We wasted half a day finding parking. Due to our protests the hotel reimbursed our fees. The breakfast was awful. Hot buffet was cold. No one keeping the area clean. Cannot recommend this hotel.

The hotel was amazing staff were very friendly, room was immaculate. They even prepped the room with rose petals and a bottle as i had requested. Food in local area was good. And placed close to gay village. It was easy to walk to a bar. The only downside. Is that there seems to be a big drug issue in burmingham. And just secconds walk from the hotel there were used dirty needles. I know its not the hotels fault. However i was shocked to see this so close to the hotel. Although the hotel was amazing. I dont think id come back to this area again.

Dirty room with poor shower
The room was dirty and there was a dirty cleaner cloth on the floor when we walked in. Very poor shower and definitely didn’t reflect the price of the room .

Reasonable stay at Radisson Blue
Nice hotel. Not sure the standard is 4 star though. We had a nice suite but the door to the bathroom was missing. The heater wasn't working so they sent up a portable heater. The floor tiles looked dirty but I think they were just old. The staff were very friendly and we had a nice time staying there but just not sure it meets the 4 star criteria

Great place to stay if on business.
Business Trip. Arrived Sunday evening after 4 hour journey. Had to wait briefly to be checked-in as only 1 member of staff. Nico arrived two minutes later and checked me in and explained everything. Offered a drink voucher for my having to wait. Stay was comfortable. room was clean and tidy. Slight wind noise when building swayed in the wind! Restaurant Breakfast was first rate!

Adequate.
Hotel is okay and clean enough. The on-site parking is VERY limited (5 spaces), otherwise you have to park at New Street station. I booked an executive room, which after my partner checked in they decided to tell us wasn't available, so in return for the lower grade room they offered me free parking outside the hotel - which was okay as it was only for 1 night. Staff are friendly enough, room was adequate. Nothing exceptional, but a good hotel for the price.

Check in was spoor and very slow - my guest arrived before me, but they would not let him have his room (even though booked) as they said it had to be paid up front!? Bar lady very pleasant, breakfast staff helpful - the area around the hotel isn't very pleasant now. Also, they recommended grand central car park, but when asked for a discount, they said they don't recommend there any longer ? it cost us £29 for an overnight stay!

Only stayed the one night to attend a gig nearby. Handy location for central Birmingham. Check-in staff were friendly, helpful, efficient and knowledgeable. Cleaning staff were excellent, our room was absolutely spotless. There was a minor issue with a hinge-pin in the bathroom door. We reported this to reception and it was fixed without delay. Breakfast was superb and the restaurant menu looked to be reasonably priced and with a fair bit of variety. We'll probably give it a try on our next visit.

Overnight stay for social event
Everything you expect from a quality hotel. We checked in early. Our bag's were stored and my wife was given a hairdryer and room after commenting she had wet hair. She didn't ask or suggest but the staff wanted to help. After a couple of hours at the bull ring we checked in. Room's are standard set out but definitely more room. The bed and bedding felt really nice but the best thing about the room was the temperature control. The AC was responsive and easy to use. The Black out curtains worked well enough and a very peaceful room, no outside noise heard. If we return to Birmingham we will stay here again.
