Schönes Hotel, in einem gepflegten alten Haus, sehr freundliches Personal. Im Zimmer habe ich einen Haken für Jacken vermisst, außerdem gab es zu wenig Steckdosen. An einer Wand mit TV, Wasserkocher und Lampe gab es nur eine Steckdose - eine Mehrfachsteckdose könnte eine Lösung sein. Die Reinigungskraft hat eine offensichtlich benutzte Kaffeetasse nicht ausgetauscht. Das sind alles nur Kleinigkeiten, aber ich sehe dies in Relation zum Preis. Für 170 EUR die Nacht sollten solche Details stimmen. Das Frühstück ist reichlich und lecker, lediglich frisches Obst habe ich vermisst. Das Hotel liegt in Steinwurfnähe zum Legohaus und ist 1,5 km vom Legoland entfernt.

I have stayed at the Refborg before, and have found it to be continually comfortable and convenient. Keep in mind that you must be able to use stairs to reach your room, though there is an easier flight of stairs at the back of the property if the curved stairway seems daunting. There is help available if you need assistance with your luggage. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with radiator heat the is self adjustable, windows which open for fresh air, plenty of hot water and pressure in the shower, a cozy comforter for each bed, and plenty of pillows. Each room also has a small TV, an electric teapot with a selection of teas, and instant coffee. There is a community room with a refrigerator if you require a place for food items, or more room for relaxing. Room layouts vary depending on what you book. Some have two areas for bedroom and the other for a couch, table and desk area. All have well equipped bathrooms and roomy dresser drawers and an area for hanging coats, and other clothing. I for one appreciate that the rooms are not cluttered up with too much decor. The clean simplicity made my stay restful and easy. Thank you Refborg. I will return!

This was my second stay at the Refborg. The quality of the accommodations and service is still top notch. It wonderfully located in the heart of Billund, next to ABC grocery for convenience of shopping. It is also walkable to The LEGO House, the Billund Bakery, and a handful of dining options. The Refborg itself has a wonderful restaurant, with at least one vegetarian/vegan option. They can also adapt to your needs and diet restrictions. The breakfast, which comes with your stay, is a lovely spread of local breads, rolls, pastries, meats, cheese, fruit, yogurt, cereals, eggs, bacon, coffee, tea, hot water, and a selection of milk, including lactose free and soy milk as options. The beds are quite comfortable, the shower is wonderfully hot with great water pressure. The rooms are cozy, some larger than others, with windows that easily open for fresh air. The staff members are all very kind and happy to provide information to make your stay quite comfortable. I am glad to have returned, and will again, next time I am in Billund. Thank you Refborg!

Absolutely exceptional customer service, beautifully clean and fabulous breakfast. The staff were so lovely and helpful and we would highly recommend for convenience to Lego house and the best bakery (Billund Bakery) I have ever tried! For a family and anyone who wants to explore danish hospitality this is a perfect stay.

Wonderful little inn with nice amenities. Little store is perfect for picking up a little snack. Breakfast was great. Only regret that we didn't try the restaurant. It smelled wonderful when we walked by.

I very much enjoyed the hotel. The staff were so nice and helpful. The rooms were large enough for 4 people, comfortable and nice. We were also within walking distance from all the attractions and shopping. There was plenty of parking as well. The breakfast was included and excellent! Best breakfast I have had. We also ate at the hotel for dinner and it was delicious. I would go there just for the restaurant!

This hotel was OK but expensive. It cost the UK equivalent of around £450 for two nights in a family room which was very small for 4 people, with a slightly rickety metal bunk bed for the kids. The bathroom was a wet room design with a floor that flooded after having a fairly short shower. We would have been a bit more tolerant of the amenities if the price had been better. However, the breakfast was enjoyable, with Scandinavian options like rye bread, cheese and ham (and strawberry juice and sheets of chocolate, which the kids loved) but also the usual options of cereal, yoghurt and pastries. The hotel staff on the reception desk were also nice and helpful.

We had a family room for 4 booked for 2 nights, as we were only visiting LEGO house but the room was too small for 4 people, and it felt very claustrophobic! There was a bit of mould and dust by the windows too. Breakfast was good enough, and the staff helped us book a taxi to Vejle train station. Overall, not a bad place to stay but only for a short visit.

This property was perfect for visiting legohouse with my son. It was across the road from legohouse and very convenient to get the free bus service to Legoland and wow park too. A lovely quiet peaceful stay. A good place to relax after busy days out. We would stay there again.

Ihan ok hotelli. Huoneen vessan ovessa ei ollut lukkoa. Minikokoinen vess/kylpyhuone vaatisi muutenkin remonttia. Ei minijääkaappia, että saisi omia juomis kylmään. Aamiainen oli ok, joskin hyvin suppea valikoima. Sijainti erinomainen, jos kohteena esim Legoland. Suihkusta tulee kunnollisella paineella vettä. Kahvi erittäin hyvää. On tullut oltua paremmissakin hotelleissa, mut onpa nähty huonompiakin.

Worst hotel ever?
the condition of the room was really bad, especially the bathroom. dirty, worn, smelly and even mouldy. The temperature in the room was around 35 degrees Celsius so there wasn't much sleep. no AC or other functioning ventilation. the staff was nice and the breakfast was ok... BUT the room cost around 3000 SEK per night... For that money you can stay in a five-star hotel in any European capital. Worst hotel stay ever...

I loved the friendliness of staff. Food was terrific. Both on breakfast and restaurant. Everything was clean and hotel was very quiet. Very child-friendly. Lego House is in short walking distance. Legoland about 1.2km away. Right next door is a grocery store and a pizzeria / restaurant. Hotelrooms was small/cozy. And no airconditioning. So during hotter days the rooms might get hot, we were lucky to have cool days. But the humidity takes a while to disappear even with windows open. Bathroom floor has no incline for water to drain, which lends to issue with humidity. Am not complaining since we had great time, but this might be a dealbreaker to some. Would revisit

Great spot to stay to be central to everything…Lego house , Lego land, and bus station. The breakfast was delicious. Rooms were cozy and comfortable. On the smaller side but that added to the coziness!;) Grocery store right next door for any essentials you may need. Definitely would stay again
