„I had a wonderful stay at Kookie Bears Cottage! They did a beautiful job making this place comfortable & beautiful. I enjoyed sitting on the back deck and watching the birds, under the shady trees. "The cottage is really run down. When I arrived I locked the door and then the lock broke so I couldn’t get out again. I was stuck in the cottage for more than 1.5 hours until maintenance arrived who broke into the window to open the door from the inside. I was not able to close the door afterwards and felt quite unsafe. The bed was so uncomfortable and I could not sleep the whole night. They offered me 15usd discount but for a 150usd stay this felt like a joke compared to what I had to go through. "
