„Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten eine tolle Woche. Das Haus entspricht der Beschreibung und den Bildern. Allerdings liegt es sehr nah an der Straße, so dass der Verkehrslärm etwas störend wirken kann. Im Garten hätten wir uns ein paar Blümchen gewünscht.“

„We stayed in Beadnell as it was midway between Alnwick and Bamburgh both of which we wanted to visit. The house was in a perfect location for this and within walking distance of a great beach. The house was very clean and well equipped. Lots of room. We would certainly stay again next time“

„We visited Driftwood for a long weekend. This was a really comfortable, well set up holiday home. Very well equipped, loads of games and puzzles, lots of beach’s equipment too. Embleton is a perfect base for exploring the area and is only about a 20 minute walk to the beach. From there you can of course walk for mikes and miles in either direction. 10/10“

„We love this part of the Northumberland coast and visit regularly, and we did have a good time. I do think this cottage is overpriced for the quality of accommodation. The kitchen and main bedroom are very nice but the rest is a little tired. The furniture is miss matched flat pack and the bedding is of poor quality. One of the sofas is very uncomfortable (kids said like their student digs) the curtains are far too thin and don’t keep the cold out, we had to buy a lot of wood to keep the lounge ...

„The house was mostly comfortable but needs some upkeep. The communication with the host was a challenge and they did not reply to most messages (even an acknowledgment of receipt would be okay). „we (a party of 8, 4 adults, 4 kids age 13-16) just spent a few days in Seahouses. the house is quite centrally located provides ample space. approx 20-25 mins walk will get you into the town center (nice walk along the beach) with several restaurants, pubs and bars plus co-op. access to the beach is within walking distance, bamburgh, alnwick and dunstanburgh can be reached easily and conveniently as well as lindisfarne and the farne islands.“

„Stayed fir 3 nights. With 10 adults. Lovley big house. Plently of room Comfortable beds. Some paintwork a.bit.shabby which was a shame. Only down side was it stated a clockroom i thought that.meant a downstairs toilet but it was just a place eto hang coats. This was difficult as some of the party was eldery and found the stairs difficult to navigate, butmon the whole we had a great.time.“

„Sehr schönes Haus mit Garten und Stühlen sowie Tisch am Eingang zur sehr ruhigen Straße hin, wo man auch ein Blick aufs Meer erhaschen kann. Craster ist dazu ein kleines ruhiges Fischdorf mit einem hervorragendem Fischrestaurant ( The Jolly Fishermen) und sehr netten Leuten. Für die Kinder war es toll, dass ein Kinderspielplatz nur knapp 15 m vom Haus entfernt war“

"Everything there you need for a stay, everything works as it should. The fence is painted with tar so it smells not good if you sit outside. Inside theres a lot of room freshener which you have to love otherwise its uncomfortable. The WLAN was very good. Its a little bit old fashioned but clean and working. We felt a little bit disturbed by the loud lawn tractor that provided bad air when we were having breakfast on the terrace. A good point for starting to activities all aound the sorrounding area if you travel by car."
