„There was no reception and no wifi available despite what the listing says. We had to book another place as I needed to check into work. Owner was very dismissive of the problem Also he sent us the wrong pin so sent us on a 30 minute round trip. Spider webs and hair were in the shower/bedroom and there’s no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Couldn’t open the window as so many spiders just outside the window “

The house was very clean but the decor is dated and the lack of a dishwasher is unacceptable as surely common place in a family home. The entrance to the property from the street is dangerous as the gate has to be manually opened while the car is still in the way of traffic. „ Very poor service from the property manager. Dishwasher did not work for the 13 nights we stayed. We told them on day one and chased them up a number of times to no avail. Excuse they gave was we can’t do anything until we contact the owner. Also refused to reimburse an agreed amount we paid in case we had visitors. The manager refused to do anything until we lodged a complaint. The house however was very nice and would have got 5 stars“

Discovery Parks - Gerroa

"We stayed at Discovery Parks - Gerroa and overall had a comfortable stay. One thing that felt a little unusual as tourists was being placed very close to the permanent residents in the park, which made the atmosphere feel less like a holiday campground at times. The cabin itself was well equipped and we appreciated small touches like the bathtub and the body lotion provided. The staff were also very helpful — we had an issue with a broken door and it was fixed very quickly after we reported it. The view over the lake was pleasant, although not particularly spectacular. A big plus was having two separate air conditioning units, one in the living room and one in the bedroom, which made the stay much more comfortable. We did not end up using the camping facilities, so cannot comment on those, but overall it was a good and practical stay."
