„Das Häuschen hat eine sehr gute Lage, endlich mal kein Autolärm und alles schnell erreichbar. Die Ausstattung ist auch prima. Die Treppe ist wirklich etwas herausfordernd aber nicht anders machbar da es ja auch ein altes Haus ist. Wir hatten sehr schöne Tage.“

Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und die Vermieter, Georgina und David sind bezaubernd und sehr hilfsbereit.Sehr lecker ist der hausgemachte Honig und die Orangenmarmelade.Durch die Lage an der Grenze von den Grafschaften Devon und Cornwall ist alles in einer Stunde mit dem Auto erreichbar. Für uns war es ein traumhafter Urlaub.“

„We spent a wonderful week here in the summer. The photos in the listing accurately reflect the place itself. Everything we needed for our group of five was provided, and the kitchen was particularly well-equipped. However, the formal description cannot capture the cosy and welcoming atmosphere of this cottage. Our lovely hosts, Heather and Les, made us feel at home at Higher Scarsick from the moment we arrived and offered many excellent suggestions for activities in the surrounding area. We ...

„Lovely little cottage a short ( but steep ) walk from town.Very genial helpful host who supplied lots of extras that was so helpful - tea coffee dishwasher tablets etc Bathroom dated but more than made up by a stunning view from the lounge window! „Absolutely beautiful place, beautiful location I cant fault anything. Pub and local store in easy walking distance. Just be aware no local public transportation except taxi which have limited availability. Wasnt a big issue but if you want to go into Plymouth it was £25 each way to the train station with one train an hour. We brought our telescope but unfortunately had cloud cover but would be a perfect location for evening of star gazing “

„My husband and I stayed in "Hawkins" cottage at Portwrinkle and we couldn't have asked for more. It was perfect for us and the cottage had everything we needed and was nicely decorated and well laid out. The hot tub was a great feature. One of the reasons we chose this cottage is because it has a conservatory overlooking the sea, in case of inclement weather. However, it was a beautiful week so we made full use of the terrace and garden. Our dog also enjoyed his stay and the lovely beach ...
