„We’ve been staying in Northumberland for the past 19 years and Snowdrop Cottage was by far the best accommodation we’ve stayed in. Decor, facilities and location were all 5 star.“

„We love this part of the Northumberland coast and visit regularly, and we did have a good time. I do think this cottage is overpriced for the quality of accommodation. The kitchen and main bedroom are very nice but the rest is a little tired. The furniture is miss matched flat pack and the bedding is of poor quality. One of the sofas is very uncomfortable (kids said like their student digs) the curtains are far too thin and don’t keep the cold out, we had to buy a lot of wood to keep the lounge ...

A great position to trek out from - so near to Cragside National Trust, which is a must! We also visited Wallington & Gibside NT & Holy Island. „The house was mostly comfortable but needs some upkeep. The communication with the host was a challenge and they did not reply to most messages (even an acknowledgment of receipt would be okay). One of the showers we could not adjust the temperature, 2 of the showers had mold. One of the biggest challenges was trying to cook as the cookware is very worn and some of it unusable. It would be nice to have a few basic essentials such as salt and pepper and hand soap upon arrival to get things ...

The kitchen was a great size with a breakfast bar for dining and the toilet/shower room was of a very high standard. „we (a party of 8, 4 adults, 4 kids age 13-16) just spent a few days in Seahouses. the house is quite centrally located provides ample space. approx 20-25 mins walk will get you into the town center (nice walk along the beach) with several restaurants, pubs and bars plus co-op. access to the beach is within walking distance, bamburgh, alnwick and dunstanburgh can be reached easily and conveniently as well as lindisfarne and the farne islands.“

„Stayed fir 3 nights. With 10 adults. Lovley big house. Plently of room Comfortable beds. Some paintwork a.bit.shabby which was a shame. Only down side was it stated a clockroom i thought that.meant a downstairs toilet but it was just a place eto hang coats. This was difficult as some of the party was eldery and found the stairs difficult to navigate, butmon the whole we had a great.time.“

„Castle view is an outstanding property to rent. All the rooms are so spacious with excellent facilities. The kitchen area was very impressive and well equipped. The views from the property were stunning. There were ten of us in the party 6 adult and four children aged between 10 and 6 years and not forgetting a family dog.
