Our stay was made more memorable by the courtesy shown from our hostess Carolyn who gave us much information on her lovely home and it's idyllic setting. „Short stop on the way to Bar Habor, historical house, quiet because the main street is one block ahead, each room is different but all are very cosy and comfortable, excellent breakfast cooked by the owner, all guests are sitting round a large table therefore conversation is very easy, “

„Delightful in located blocks from the ocean in Castine. Really great breakfast, bikes available to use, good wifi. There was a power outage due to a storm while I was there and while the building didn't have a generator, breakfast was still served the next morning and I noticed very little difference to the inn's normal procedures. Just a small thing, I don't think the heat in my room was on and it felt about 10 degrees colder in there than in the hallway outside. This is likely not an issue for ...

„The hotel is lovely! Our room 203 was well appointed and spacious (living area, kitchen, dining table, separate bedroom and bath). The gas fireplace in the living room was a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious. One can easily walk to restaurants, shops and the Harbor. The only downside to the experience was some loud noises because of trash pick up/snowplowing. It was November and there was a small snow storm, the room backs up to a food coop. They plowed at 11 pm, 3:30am and then trash pick ...
