Das Haus könnte Aussen einen anstrich vertragen, aber aufgrund der sehr guten Mischung von alt und modern kann man darüber hinweg sehen.

Das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Zimmer hatte einen unangenehmen Geruch. Leider ließ sich das Fenster nicht öffnen.

Sehr schöne Lage
Das Hotel liegt direkt an einem Fluß. Es gibt sehr gutes Frühstück. Allerdings nur Englisches. Der Biergarten ist zu empfehlen.

good hotel in centre of Bedord directly at river
Initially given a twin room, but quickly changed to a double bed room when asking. Rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. Lobby with good seating for a meating over a tea/coffee

The Swan Hotel in Bedford was beautiful the bedroom and bathroom was very clean, there was tea & coffee in the rooms, shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom provided. The Spa was amazing with all different well-being jets in the pool and the steam and Finish rooms were great. I really recommend you try the Spa at this lovely hotel and the amazing Anna's afternoon tea in all 10/10👍

The breakfast buffet was amazing, especially the mushroom must say it’s the best mushroom I’ve ever had. The rooms and facilities are very nicely decorated spa was very clean and relaxing it gets booked up quite quickly because there’s only few people in a session which makes it more pleasant and less crowded. The area around the hotel is beautiful river front and park with nice outdoor cafe to enjoy. Overall beyond expectation for this hotel.

Hotel was basically OK. Good position by the river and close to town centre. Let down by very small car park which cannot be booked in advance. Check-in made to wait even tho staff available. Room OK but tired.

The hotel was beautiful. Amazing location on the embankment, and central for the town. We had Afternoon Tea which was delicious, followed by a few drinks in the bar. The hotel was full, plus a wedding which meant parking wasn’t possible , but there is an NCP a short walk away. Staff very efficient , lovely rooms.

The hotel was very nice all the amenities you need but outside the property on a gloomy day of rain was disappointing. The river would be nice in the summer but the rest of the street was a dump. No really nice places to eat they all looked like real dives.

Ok but a little noisy and not fantastic
Clean and bed is comfortable, but reception not always staffed (although stafff are friendly) and sound proofing is poor. House keeping also tried to enter our room in the morning of check out day when we were asleep, instead of waiting a couple hours later till we have checked out, so some internal system wasn't working...

Nice hotel
Hotel was lovely but the lack of parking spaces or nearby parking was a difficult. Breakfast style was basic and notvreally in keeping with the hotel. Disappointed to find you had to pay to use the spa.

We spent 4 nights at this hotel - of which two nights we had no heat. The first night we were offered an extra quilt and after three phone calls the next day a small heater was brought in. No compensation was offered for the fact we had no heat for these two nights even after a request was made. We found the waitresses in the lounge and restaurant were very friendly but the bartender and hostess were actually rude! I would not recommend this hotel for these reasons.

During my stay, the hotel was having problems with the heating. I explained how cold my room was, I was told they had been having problems with the heating for the past 6 days. No one had bothered to contact me in advance to warn me, giving me the option to book somewhere else and simply told me it was being worked on and there wasn't anything they could do. They did not offer any additional heating, and even the "apology" did not come across as sincere. It was delivered without empathy or concern and a "it's not my fault" attitude. Apart from the heating, my room was comfortable. I had booked 3 rooms for 5 adults and 1 infant. 2 of the adults who were due to stay with me did not attend due to illness. I was glad because although the beds were double, they were very small so I would not have been comfortable sharing the bed. My room had a stained carpet and the deadlock on the door did not work. After going out, I returned, at midnight, but there were no parking spaces. I spoke to someone in reception to ask where I could park and was directed to a Local Authority car park which was some way away - this meant that I would have to walk back unaccompanied - as a single female, I found this completely unacceptable. (bearing in mind I had booked 3 rooms, I would have expected to have at least 1 parking space). I had to ask my daughter to leave her baby with her elderly grandmother and come with me. (still not ideal). Staff did not care.

Stayed one night Checkin was easy I would think about bed and breakfast prices. 10 pounds for breakfast without proper tea and coffee. Need to invest in machines not thermos flasks please Room was clean and shower good water and press good. Great views of the river and embankment. I would happily stay here again if I needed to be in Bedford for a family event.
