„Greeted by a cheerful and friendly member of staff. Booked in and showed to our room, called the Collie room. A lovely picture of a collie dog on the wall and two collie dog mugs in the room. Cosy room with comfy bed. The only minor drawback was that there was no bedside lights which was slightly awkward for reading “

„Lovely hotel. I was upgraded to a classic double and the yoom was gorgeous . Nice staff . Very helpful.
They were having an up grade and refurbishment whilst I was there but it didn't affect my stay .

The room was good and the bed was huge!! It was 2 lovely nights sleep, nice hot shower in the morning followed by a cooked breakfast. It really set me up for the day.
I would most certainly revisit and can recommend it for a good place to stay in Kendal.“

„Only stayed one night. Lovely quiet setting. The whole place has character. Staff were great and friendly, very accommodating. Beautiful views from the restaurant and bar of the gardens. Room was nice, tidy and clean although a little warm for my liking. Will be back for another stay soon! “

The room was spacious and comfortable with a shower and bath.It was very quiet.Breakfast in the morning was great and heather made us feel so at home.

"Weilte 5 Tage im Hotel The Coniston Inn. Die Lage des Hotels, unmittelbar in Seenähe und etwas ausserhalb vom Ort Coniston (kurzer Fussmarsch) gelegen, ist schlicht wunderbar. Sehr ruhige Lage, eine Bus-Haltestelle vor dem Hotel und eine grosse Gartenanlage mit Sitz- und Erholungsgelegenheiten. Das Gebäude ist ein typisch englisches Landhaus. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Im Zimmer habe ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Toll auch, dass man im Zimmer über einen Wasserkocher mit Tee- und Kaffee-Vorräten verfügen kann. Das Frühstück ist grandios. Sehr zu empfehlen sind die Eier-Gerichte (im Frühstückspreis enthalten). Auch im Restaurant habe ich einige Male gegessen. Es hat Pub-Charakter, was ich als sehr angenehm empfunden habe."
