It’s also in a great location close to beaches and local shops, so getting out and exploring the area was easy.The host’s communication was excellent and everything about the stay was smooth from start to finish. I also noticed some thoughtful touches for guests traveling with pets, like a dog bed and food and water bowls available, which was nice to see even though I didn’t bring any pets ...

„While technically not in Nehalem, this property is everything else the listing says it is. It was so nice to be out of town and away from the drove of tourist traffic. The house is clean, well-decorated, and the furniture was comfy. Communication was quick, clear and friendly. Our dog loved being able to roam, as well. We would recommend this spot to anyone who wants a quiet, secluded vacation. “

„The cottage was very clean. Great view of the ocean. Direct access to the beach. Front deck was nice, but the weather wasn't cooperative to use it. Decor was outdated. Instructions are outdated (no thermostat to set at 55*, pellet stove instructions were unclear, tv instructions were for an old setup), and the bed tilts downward with the uneven floor. Front door blind was broken.“
