„I was VERY lucky to find a room at Lareau Farm Inn a week before the solar eclipse on April 8th, and at a most reasonable price. „The location of the inn is great, the rooms are tastefully appointed. The hosts were nice, welcoming and helpfull. There are a lot of stairs and that`s a problem for people who have difficulties in climbing stairs. When I folded back the bedspread there was a big spider - not a nice surprise. Later on I found several cobwebs at the window blind. For our taste the breakfasts missed hearty ingredients - but this might have been just bad luck as the breakfast menu changes daily. “

„The hosts are welcoming, the B&B is cozy and clean, and the breakfast is delicious. This is an old house from the 1800’s with all the charm you would expect, but completely renovated to have all the modern conveniences and very clean. The wood burning fireplace is so inviting. The breakfast is not your typical breakfast. It is a three course delight. We stayed 2 nights. „Excellent breakfast! Sitting room available for guests was comfy with coffee/tea and delicious homemade cake. All very clean. Our room was small with little area for luggage. Hot/Cold water was reversed, but without my glasses on in the bathroom I couldn't read the script cap on the faucet. We ran the water for quite a while before we figured it out. Randy very knowledgeable about the area and a wealth of information on Stowe and environs. Would definitely stay here again.“
