„The lodge was in such a great location. It was such a good size with everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing and the garden so relaxing. We only stayed two nights and were out a lot of the time so I feel we didn’t get the full benefit of the lodge and area. I hope to return for longer at some point in 2026“

„A lovely old hotel. All rooms were tastefully and stylishly furnished. Our room was very spacious and modernly furnished. The bathroom was also very nice. The breakfast was good and there was something for every taste. Only the jam dispensers were a bit complicated to handle.“

„Perfect host , very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for him . We arrived late and he even sat and had a drink with us in the lounge . Really homely . Very clean . Fresh flowers in our room and chocolates was a nice touch .Breakfast was perfect . Reasonable price . “

„We stayed in one of the cottages which although a bit dated offer a lot of space and character. The room itself was spotless and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Loftsome bridge although off a main road for convenience is lovely and quite due to it being a good distant back from it, so you get the best of both worlds a good nights sleep and connectivity to all the local attractions with York not being too far away.
