We very much enjoyed our stay in the apartment! It was very comfortable, and had pretty much everything we needed for a week-long stay. We didn't do much cooking, so the cooktop and cookware were fine. Once we figured out the Italian instructions on the dish- and clothes washers, we were all set. Beds and other furniture were fine.
The hamlet is great -- very scenic, and with enough resources within walking distance (small and medium-sized groceries, a pharmacy, etc) that you could get what you needed without driving, but small enough that it's not a big tourist draw by itself (thus no crowds, tour buses, etc.). There are five very good restaurants and a wine bar a short distance away, and countless more by car. If you need more than what's immediately local, there are small to mid-sized towns nearby, with a full range of stores.
Minor notes: you should be good with stairs, since the apartment is up two flights of stairs from the street, the second bedroom is up another flight, and there's still another flight to get to the parking lot down the hill. But, tbh, we're in our 70s, and it wasn't a big deal. Also, be aware that mosquitos in Tuscany are voracious, so take advantage of the anti-bug stuff provided.
Again -- great time; would happily do it again!
